Al-Haq Field Updates from the Gaza Strip

Since 8 July and the commencement of 'Operation Protective Edge', Israeli hostilities have continued against the occupied Gaza Strip with a growing number of civilian deaths, injuries and property destruction.

 

The following documentation is provided by the Al-Haq field research team in the Gaza Strip and is updated regularly. 

 

 

Tuesday 26 August

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 8:30 A.M. An airstrike hit towards the water line in Khan Younis refugee camp while being fixed. No injuries reported.
  • 2:30 P.M. A house was struck and destroyed in Absan al-Jadida.
  • 6:30 P.M. An airstrike hit a car, killing two brothers Omar and Muhammad Husam al-Brem.

Rafah Governorate

  • 4:40 A.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Shabura refugee camp, injuring one person.
  • 5:00 P.M. A house was struck and destroyed in Rafah city.
  • 6:00 P.M. An airstrike hit a group of people in al-Jnena neighbourhood, killing Yusef Ghannam, 22, Muhammad al-Riyati, 24, and Ahmad Jarbu’, 22.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 1:00 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Jabaliyya.
  • 3:00 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Manshiya area, causing damage to several houses nearby.
  • 5:30 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house, causing damage to several houses nearby.
  • 6:30 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Tal al-Za’tar, causing damage to nearby houses.
  • 7:40 A.M. An airstrike hit and damaged a house in Jabaliyya refugee camp.
  • 8:30 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Jabaliyya, damaging several houses nearby.
  • Two missiles struck and destroyed a house, injuring three people.
  • 1:35 P.M. An airstrike hit a car that belongs to the electricity authority in the area, killing two workers Tamer Medhat Hamad, 24, and Muhammad Abdelrahman Thaher, 49, and injuring three others passing by.
  • 2:10 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Tal al-Za’atar in Jabaliyya, causing damage to several houses nearby.
  • 3:45 P.M. An airstrike hit and killed a member of the resistance groups; Muhammad Majdi al-Shawish, 24, in al-Qaraman Street in Bait Lahia.
  • 6:30 P.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a residential tower (No. 67) in al-Sheikh Zayed in Bait Lahia. The tower is made up of five floors and consists of 10 residential apartments, wherein 14 families live (approximately 80 people).

Gaza Governorate

  • 12:20 A.M. An airstrike hit and killed Muhammad Mu’in Abu Ajwa, 28, and Hasan Omar Khawas, 24, while near their houses in al-Nafaq Street.
  • 12:25 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house on al-Yarmuk Street, causing damage to several houses nearby.
  • 2:00 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house near al-Sahaba medical centre.
  • 3:00 A.M. Two missiles struck a school in al-Zaytun neighbourhood, causing severe damage to the school and Gaza University nearby.
  • 3:30 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a school in al-Shuja’iyya neighbourhood, causing damage to two other nearby schools.
  • 3:35 A.M. Two missiles struck an association for the handicapped in al-Zaytun neighbourhood, causing serious damage to the building.
  • 4:15 A.M. Six consecutive missiles struck al-Basha tower which consists of 13 floors in the city centre and which includes residential building and offices. The building was destroyed and severe damages were caused to its surroundings. This is the fourth high rise building to be struck and destroyed during the Israeli offensive on the Strip.
  • 1:40 P.M. An airstrike hit a motorcycle in al-Shaghaf neighbourhood, killing two members of the resistance groups, Shadi Suleiman ‘Elewa, 24, and Salem Abdelhamid Muhammadin, 23.
  • 9:00 P.M. Lama Khadr al-Nabih, 4, was declared dead. She was injured on 20 August 2014 following an airstrike that hit near her house in al-Shuja’iyya.

Monday 25 August

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 10:30 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Qarara, causing damage to three neighbouring houses.
  • 2:00 P.M. Several artillery shells struck east of al-Qarara and al-Zana area.
  • 2:45 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Qarara. The owner of the house was phone called by the Israeli military to evacuate the house minutes before the strikes.
  • 3:45 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in al-Qarara.
  • 4:10 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Absan al-Kabira.
  • 4:20 P.M. An airstrike hit and damaged an agricultural land in al-Satr al-Gharbi.
  • 6:15 P.M. An airstrike hit and damaged a farmland and a residence.
  • 10:45 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house, injuring one person.

Rafah Governorate

  • 12:10 A.M. Four missiles struck Rafah Border Crossing on the Egyptian-Palestinian borders, causing severe damage to its facilities and injuring two security officers.
  • 7:00 A.M. One member of the resistance groups was declared dead. He was targeted and injured on 23 August 2014.
  • 11:15 A.M. An airstrike hit an empty land near Rafah crossing damaging a mosque.
  • 10:45 P.M. Two missiles struck an empty land near al-Shabura refugee camp, injuring one person who had been passing by then.

Central Governorate

  • 1:00 A.M. An airstrike hit and damaged a house in al-Nusseirat refugee camp.
  • 1:30 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Brej refugee camp.
  • 2:00 A.M. Four missiles struck and destroyed an abandoned carpentry in al-Brej refugee camp.
  • 12:00 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Brej refugee camp.
  • 1:10 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in al-Maghazi refugee camp, damaging several houses nearby.
  • 1:50 P.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Maghazi refugee camp, damaging several houses nearby.
  • 3:00 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Der al-Balah, causing damage to nearby houses.
  • 5:00 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in Der al-Balah, damaging several houses nearby.
  • 5:20 P.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Nusseirat refugee camp, injuring one resident.
  • 11:00 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house in al-Maghazi refugee camp.

Gaza Governorate

  • Houses have been targeted while three people were killed, of whom two are civilians.
  • 2:20 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a mosque in al-Zaytun neighbourhood.
  • 12:15 P.M. Hani Muhammad Yasin, 40, was declared dead. He was injured on 20 August 2014 in airstrike that hit al-Zaytun neighbourhood.
  • 2:20 P.M. An airstrike hit a car, killing four members of the resistance groups: Ahmad Taysir al-Dali, 29, Basem Hassan Hijazi, 36, Ahmad Hassan Hijazi, 23, and Musailama Abu Zina, 40.
  • 5:00 P.M. An airstrike hit and severely damaged al-Sham’aa mosque in al-Zaytun neighbourhood.
  • 6:00 P.M. Abdallah Fadl Murtaji, 26, was declared dead due to injuries he sustained following an airstrike on al-Shuja’iyya.
  • 9:15 P.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Sabra neighbourhood, damaging several houses nearby.
  • 10:00 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house, killing one resident Sa’ad Basem ‘Ajur, 22, a member of the resistance groups.
  • 10:30 P.M. Seven consecutive missiles struck the Italian Compound building on al-Nasr Street. The building is 15 floors high, 13 of which contain 52 residential apartments and the two floors consist of a shopping mall and offices. The building was destroyed and severe damages were caused to the surrounding area.
  • 11:30 P.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Zaytun neighbourhood.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 12:05 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a mosque, injuring four people, including two children.
  • 12:10 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Jabaliyya refugee camp, injuring 17 people, including 2 children and a journalist.
  • 4:10 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Jabaliyya, damaging several neighbouring houses.
  • 4:45 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in Jabaliyya, damaging several nearby houses.
  • 7:30 A.M. A backyard was struck in Bet Lahia, killing one resident Farhana Ibrahim al-‘Attar, 48, while taking care of the birdhouse.
  • 10:40 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Beit Lahia, killing the owner and three of the family members and injuring nine people. The owner of the house is Radad Ahmad Tanbura, 36, and the bodies are still being searched for in the ruins.
  • 11:45 A.M. An airstrike hit and killed Usama Muhammad Shabir, 25, while near his house and Usama Hamdi al-Shalfuh, 22, while in Jabaliyya refugee camp.
  • 1:30 P.M. Three missiles struck and severely damaged a house and the garden in Jabaliyya.
  • 2:30 P.M. Four missiles struck and destroyed a steel workshop in Jabaliyya.
  • 4:40 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Salatin neighbourhood, damaging several houses nearby.
  • 9:10 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in al-Shaima area, damaging several houses nearby and a greenhouse.
  • 9:50 P.M. An airstrike hit an agricultural land near a shelter school, causing damage to the school and injuring five of the displaced people.

Sunday 24 August

Central Governorate

  • 3:15 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house along with three neighbouring houses in Der al-Balah.
  • 11:15 A.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house in Deir al-Balah, killing two members of the resistance groups who were near the house and injuring 14 others.
  • 5:00 P.M. A missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Brej refugee camp, damaging several nearby houses.
  • 5:15 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Brej refugee camp, damaging several neighbouring houses.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 4:45 A.M. Two missiles struck and damaged a house in al-Manara neighbourhood.
  • 9:30 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in al-Mahatta area.
  • 2:00 P.M. Three missiles struck several houses belonging to the Abu Ma’ruf family in Joret al-Lut. Several minutes later and for two hours, 13 missiles struck the seven houses for the same family and destroyed them, displacing at least 10 families. At the same time, two missiles struck and destroyed another house in the same area and destroying four other houses and damaging many. Ten people were injured as a result, including two children.
  • 4:00 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in al-Sha’er neighbourhood. Two missiles were also fired at a house in the same neighbourhood and severely damaged.
  • 4:20 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed two houses in Khan Younis.
  • 7:20 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed al-Rahma Charity Association in al-Zini Street, damaging many houses and surrounding structures.
  • 9:00 P.M. A missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Fukhari neighbourhood.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 4:50 A.M. An airstrike hit an agricultural land in Bait Lahia, injuring one.
  • 5:00 A.M. Two missiles struck a sports field in Bait Lahia, damaging the field and injuring people who had been passing by.
  • 12:00 P.M. Two houses were struck in ‘Izbet Milin in Jabaliyya, destroying one and severely damaging two others.
  • 12:00 P.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a steel workshop on al-Sikka Street in Jabaliyya, damaging several houses nearby.
  • 12:30 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a five-storey house in ‘Izbet Milin in Jabaliyya. Several neighbouring houses were damaged as a result.
  • 12:35 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in Jabaliyya, injuring six people, including one child. Several houses nearby were damaged as a result.
  • 1:40 P.M. Two missiles struck a motorcycle in Bait Lahia, killing one of the riders Muhammad Ibrahim al-Luqa, 23, and injuring another.
  • 4:15 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a backyard of the house while the residents were in the backyard, including four children, killing the mother Rawya Ibrahim Muhammad, 43, and her children Tasnim Isam Joude, 14, Raghad, 12, Usama, 6, and Muhammad, 8. Another 13-year-old son was injured.
  • 7:10 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a two-storey house in al-Qar’aa, Beit Lahia, damaging several houses nearby.
  • 7:30 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a three-storey house in Bait Hanun, damaging several houses nearby.

Gaza Governorate

  • 4:30 A.M. An airstrike hit a motorcycle north of Gaza city, killing its two riders: Yehia Omar Abulomarin, 18, and Badreldeen Hashem Abu Mani’, 17.
  • 6:00 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Nasr neighbourhood.
  • 6:05 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in west of al-Nasr neighbourhood.
  • 11:50 A.M. An airstrike hit an empty land in al-Yarmuk, killing two children Zeinab Bilal Abu Taqiya, 1, and Muhammad Wa’el al-Khudari, 16, who were in the nearby houses.
  • 12:30 P.M. A car was struck with a missile in al-Remal neighbourhood, killing the driver Muhammad Tal’at al-Ghul, 30, and injuring five others who were passing by.
  • 1:00 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a five-storey house in North West of the city, damaging several houses nearby.
  • 11:30 P.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house west of the city. The owner of the house had been killed in a previous airstrike that hit his car on the same day.
  • 11:35 P.M. An airstrike hit a group of people near a bakery on al-Nasr Street, killing Yehia Mu’in Abu Daqn, 25, and Yasin Ibrahim al-Biltaji, 23.

Rafah Governorate

  • 8:30 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a street.

Saturday 23 August

Gaza Governorate

  • 12:00 A.M. Without prior warning, two missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Zawayda town, killing five of its residents: Hayel Shehada Abu Dahruj, 28, his wife Huda Muhammad Khamis Abu Dahruj, 25, their children Abdallah, 3, and Abdelhadi, 2, and their aunt Hayat Abderabo Abu Dahruj, 49. Four members of the family were injured, including two children.
  • 1:30 A.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed al-Susi Mosque in al-Shate’ refugee camp. The mosque had been hit previously.
  • 6:15 A.M. Six missiles struck and destroyed an uninhabited house in al-Zaytun neighbourhood.
  • 12:00 P.M. Muhammad Naser al-‘Ijla, 64, was declared dead. He was shot while in the buffer zone.
  • 7:20 P.M. Two missiles struck al-Thafer Building in Tal al-Hawa, destroying the 13-storey building containing 46 apartments and inhabited by around 240 people. 18 people were injured as a result. Israeli forces had phone called some of the residents half an hour prior to the strikes ordering them to evacuate the building. The residents of four buildings nearby also evacuated.
  • 9:00 P.M. An airstrike hit a car in al-Nasr neighbourhood, killing a member of the resistance groups Mahmud Abbas Abulamrein, 28.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 3:50 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed Abdelrahman Mosque in Absan al-Kabira.
  • 5:30 A.M. Three missiles struck and severely damaged the Cultural Centre in al-Qarara.
  • 6:00 A.M. Abdelrahman Salem Abu Hadayed, 25, was declared dead. He was injured on 21 August 2014 in airstrike that hit a motorcycle he was riding with his brother Hamdan, 44.
  • 12:55 P.M. Four missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Katiba area, damaging several houses nearby.
  • 3:00 P.M. Salah Jum’aa Salim, 26, was declared dead in an Egyptian hospital. He was injured in the shelling of his house on 2 August 2014 in al-Qarara.

Rafah Governorate

  • 11 missiles and dozens of artillery shells struck different parts of Rafah, mostly targeting empty lands and military training locations belonging to the members of the resistance groups.
  • 11:45 A.M. Israeli aircrafts threw thousands of leaflets on several areas of Rafah city ordering the residents to evacuate any targeted area and threatening to target any house near which rockets are fired.
  • 12:00 P.M. A missile struck and injured a member of the resistance groups in al-Jenena neighbourhood.
  • 12:10 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house in al-Jenena neighbourhood.
  • 2:45 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Rafah refugee camp, damaging several properties nearby and injuring one person. Seven families lived in the house.
  • 3:30 P.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Tannur neighbourhood, injuring two people and damaging several nearby houses.
  • 11:00 P.M. Seven missiles and destroyed a shopping centre in the city centre, causing severe damages to its surroundings, including houses, stores, and two shelters. Seven people were injured, including two children. The centre includes 14 apartments, offices, clinics, 47 stores, a wedding hall and a restaurant. At the same time, two missiles were fired at one of the nearby buildings.

Central Governorate

  • 11:00 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house wherein four families live in al-Brej refugee camp. Several adjacent houses were damaged as a result.
  • 2:00 P.M. Two missiles struck a residential building in Der al-Balah, wherein 10 families live, and killing three: Nisreen Ibrahim Ahmad, 38, her child Hussein Khaled Ahmad, 8, and Abdelkarim Hamad Abu Madin, 43, and injuring two others, including one child.
  • 2:15 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house where in three families live in al-Brej refugee camp, damaging several nearby houses.
  • 6:00 P.M. An airstrike hit and damaged a house in al-Brej refugee camp.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 11:15 A.M. An airstrike hit a farmland in Bait Hanun, injuring four civilians.
  • 11:30 A.M. Two missiles struck and severely damaged a house in al-Fakhura area in Jabaliyya refugee camp.
  • 1:25 P.M. Two missiles struck and severely damaged an apartment in Sheikh Zayed towers in Beit Lahia.
  • 3:10 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Jabaliyya refugee camp.
  • 4:35 P.M. A missile struck an agricultural land on al-Manshia Street in Bait Lahia, injuring two, including a child.

Friday 22 August

Central Governorate

  • 4:30 A.M. An airstrike hit a house in al-Nusseirat refugee camp. Half an hour later, another missile struck the house, destroying it and damaging several adjacent houses.
  • 5:30 A.M. A missile struck and destroyed al-Ta’awun Concrete Industry in al-Zawayda town. A truck belonging to the company was destroyed as well.
  • 6:00 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house, wherein a family of 9 live, in Deir al-Balah. Neighbouring houses were damaged as a result.
  • 7:30 A.M. A missile hit and killed two members of the resistance groups; Mahmud Naser Qashlan, 24, and Yasin Hamed Abu Hamad, 22, while in a farm east of al-Zawayda town.
  • 10:00 A.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house in al-Brej refugee camp.
  • 4:20 P.M. An airstrike hit and killed Ismai’l Muslim Ibtihan, 69, while on his land in al-Zawayda.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 2:00 A.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a greenhouse in al-Satr al-Gharbi. An adjacent house was also destroyed as a result.
  • 7:50 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in al-Fukhari area.
  • 11:00 A.M. An airstrike hit al-‘Abadla neighbourhood in al-Qarara. Moments later, another missile struck the roof of a house in the same neighbourhood, killing a father and his son and injuring his other son: Ahmad Qasem al-‘Abadla, 59, Musa, 23. They had gone on the roof to see where the first missile hit.

Rafah Governorate

  • 2:30 A.M. A missile struck a building on Omar Bin Khattab Street, which includes a pharmacy and other offices. Two hours later, another missile struck the building, partially destroying it. At the same time, another missile struck another building on the same street. And two hours later, another missile struck the second building which partially destroyed it.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 7:00 A.M. A missile struck and destroyed a three-storey house in Jabaliyya. The owner of the house had received a phone call from the Israeli intelligence to evacuate the house.
  • 6:00 P.M. An airstrike hit an empty field at the southern entrance of Beit Hanun, injuring one person who had been passing by then.
  • 8:40 P.M. A missile struck al-Faluja cemetery in Jabaliyya refugee camp, destroying several graves and damaging the location. As a result, four people were injured.
  • 8:50 P.M. A chicken farm was struck and destroyed on al-Sikka Street in Beit Hanun.
  • 9:15 P.M. Two missiles struck a land near Maslan area in Bait Lahia, damaging nearby houses and injuring one.
  • 10:10 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house on al-Manshia Street in Bait Lahia.

Gaza Governorate

  • 12:00 P.M. An airstrike hit a building in al-Shate’ refugee camp, destroying an apartment and severely damaging another.
  • 8:30 P.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Sabra neighbourhood, injuring 40 people.

Thursday 21 August

North Gaza Governorate

  • 18 people have been injured in the continuous attacks on the North Gaza Governorate, including four children.
  • 6:45 A.M. An airstrike hit and killed Hussam Abedrabo Abu Jaser, 45, while on his land in Jabaliyya.
  • 8:00 A.M. An airstrike hit and killed Surur Muhammad Tanbura, 35, and his son Hasan, 13, while walking near their house in Beit Lahia.
  • 1:20 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house on al-Manshia Street in Beit Lahia.
  • 2:10 P.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house on Zamu Street in Beit Hanun.
  • 5:05 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house on al-Qarman Street in Beit Hanun.

Gaza Governorate

  • 9:30 A.M. An airstrike hit a group of people from al-Rifi family while on their farmland in al-Nafaq Street, killing five, including three children: Nasr Zeyad al-Rifi, 37, his son Omar, 4, Muhammad Zeyad al-Rifi, 28m Abdallah Tareq al-Rifi, 6, and his brother Zeyad, 13. Four more people were injured, including two children.
  • 11:20 A.M. An airstrike hit a group of grave diggers while digging a grave in al-Sheikh Radwan graveyard, killing five of them, including one child: Muhammad Hamdi Abu Nahl, 17, his brother Rami, 20, Awsam Talal Tafesh, 43, Abdelrahim Talal al-Shweikh, 21, Salem Ismail Abu Ghdain, 28.
  • 12:00 P.M. The body of Sarah Muhammad al-Deif, 2, was recovered from the ruins of her house which was struck and destroyed on 19 August 2014.
  • 12:40 P.M. An airstrike hit a car in al-Nasr neighbourhood, killing two members of the resistance groups: Muhammad Ahmad Abbas, 45, Isam Muhammad al-Husni, 26.
  • 9:00 P.M. Ra’ed Ahmad Khatr, 5, was announced dead due to injuries he sustained following an airstrike that hit near his house in al-Zaytun neighbourhood on 19 August 2014.
  • 11:15 P.M. An airstrike hit a house in al-Sheikh ‘Ijlin neighbourhood. The house was previously struck and destroyed.

Central Governorate

  • 1:30 A.M. An airstrike hit and killed two members of the resistance groups in al-Nusseirat refugee camp.
  • 9:00 A.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house.
  • 12:00 P.M. An airstrike hit a house, wherein two families live, in al-Nusseirat refugee camp. Thirty minutes later, another missile struck and destroyed the house, causing damage to several adjacent houses.
  • 1:00 P.M. Eman Yunis al-Loh, 17, was announced dead due to injuries she sustained on 20 August 2014.
  • 3:00 P.M. An airstrike hit and killed Ibrahim Ra’ed Baraka, 45, while walking near his house in Deir al-Balah. Three others were injured in the strike.
  • 11:00 P.M. Two missiles struck the backyard of Bashir Ahmad Abu Shreteh, 26, killing him and his nephew Mahmud Tal’at Abu Shreteh, 13, and injuring two family members.

Rafah Governorate

  • 1:00 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house Misbeh neighbourhood, injuring one resident.
  • 2:30 A.M. Approximately 9 missiles struck a house in Tal al-Sultan without prior warning, killing three members of the resistance groups; Muhammad Ibrahim Abu Shamale, 40, Ra’ed Subhi al-Attar, 40, Muhammad Hamdan Barhum, 45, and seven civilians; Nathira Ramadan Kallab, 40, her sons Naser, 17, Yusuf, 15, Abdallah, 9, and their neighbours Hasan Hussein Yunis, 75, his wife Amal Ibrahim Yunis, 53, and Aysha Ismail Atiya, 63. The targeted house was destroyed along with six adjacent houses that were partially destroyed and severely damaged. 54 others were injured, including 21 children.
  • 3:00 P.M. Seba Rami Yunis, 4, was announced dead due to the injuries she sustained following the shelling of her neighbour’s house in Tal al-Sultan, which killed 10 people, including her grandparents.

  • 3:00 A.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house in Deir al-Balah, wherein two families reside.
  • 4:45 A.M. Without prior warning, an airstrike hit and destroyed a house in Deir al-Balah. An adjacent house was also destroyed. The strike resulted in the killing of seven family members: Ra’fat Mustafa al-Loh, 32, his wife Nabila Eid al-Loh, 28, her unborn baby, and three of their children, Mustafa, 10, Maysara, 8, and Farah, 6. Two of Ra’fat’s brothers were also killed, Muhammad, 22, and Ahmad, 22. Twelve people were injured.
  • 6:30 A.M. Four missiles struck a three-storey house in al-Nusseirat refugee camp, wherein five families live. Half an hour later, another missile struck and destroyed the house, damaging several other houses.
  • 2:30 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a three-storey house, wherein two families live.
  • 3:45 P.M. An airstrike hit and killed two children, Saher Muhammad al-Abit, 11, and his cousin Muhammad Emad al-Abit, 16, while walking near Der al-Balah Girls School C, which is used as a shelter for the displaced people of the area. Two others were wounded.

  • 11:30 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed two houses in al-Zanna area.
  • 12:00 P.M. An airstrike hit near a house in al-Bdaw Street, North West of Khan Younis. One of the residents received a warning phone call to evacuate the area before the shelling. Three more missiles were fired at empty lands, damaging adjacent houses.
  • 3:00 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a car garage in al-Qarara town, severely damaging an adjacent house.
  • 3:15 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a car garage and land in al-Satr al-Sharqi, damaging the house.
  • 6:00 P.M. A missile struck the balcony of a house in Ma’an area, causing damage to the house. A few seconds later, three more missiles were fired at the garden, destroyhing the house and causing damage to the electricity network in the area. An adjacent house was damaged. The house was previously struck on 1 August 2014, killing 9 of its residents.

Tuesday 19 August

Gaza Governorate

  • 9:30 P.M. Six air missiles struck and destroyed a three storey house in al-Sheikh Radwan, wherein three families reside. Five residents were killed during the airstrike: Wedad ‘Asfur al-Deif, 28, and her son Ali Muhammad Deif, 7 months, Wafa’ Hussein al-Dalu, 47, and her sons Ahmad, 20, and Mustafa, 14. Fifteen people were injured in the neighbouring houses. Searches are ongoing as there might be bodies that have not been recovered. Four adjacent houses and a company were severely damaged while 36 vehicles were damaged and destroyed.

Central Governorate

  • 6:30 P.M. An airstrike hit Wadi al-Salqa area, east Deir al-Balah damaging an ambulance while no injuries were reported.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 4:50 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a chicken farm in al-Qarara, east of Khan Younis.
  • 8:00 P.M. Omar Muhammad Jarghun, 27, was announced dead due to injuries he sustained on 10 August 2014 following an airstrike that hit a motorcycle in Khan Younis. The strike killed two others, Ihsan Mahrus al-Agha and Hasan Hussein Kaware’.

Rafah Governorate

  • 8:00 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a nursery in al-Jnena neighbourhood.

Rafah Governorate

  • 11:40 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in the city centre of Rafah, injuring four people who were passing by the area.
  • 1:15 P.M. Two missiles struck an agricultural land in al-Salam neighbourhood, injuring one child.
  • 7:00 P.M. An airstrike hit a motorcycle in al-Nasr town, injuring a four-year-old child.
  • 8:45 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in al-Salam neighbourhood.
  • 11:15 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house and a chicken farm in al-Salam neighbourhood.

  • 4:30 A.M. An airstrike hit and damaged a house in Bani Suhayla, injuring the owner and killing his wife Amani al-‘Abd Baraka, 35.
  • 8:00 A.M. An airstrike hit in the midst of several houses belong to ‘Abdelghafour family in al-Qarara. Israeli forces had called one of the residents and ordered them to evacuate. Several houses were damaged in the area.
  • 12:45 P.M. Two missiles struck a three-wheeler in Bani Suhayla, injuring three people.
  • 6:00 P.M. An airstrike hit a group of people in al-Satr al-Gharbi area, injuring seven people.

  • 9:00 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in al-Barazil neighbourhood and damaged several other houses, injuring two people. The house was previously struck on 17 July 2014 and was partially destroyed then.
  • Morning – ‘Izzdin Waleed Abu Sanima, 12, was announced dead from al-Shawka town. He had sustained injuries following the shelling of an UNRWA shelter in al-Shabura refugee camp on 3 August.
  • 10:30 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in Tal al-Sultan, causing damage to several neighbouring houses.
  • 2:00 P.M. Three air missiles struck and destroyed a house in Khirbet al-‘Adas.
  • 7:45 P.M. An airstrike hit a service car in Eshta neighbourhood, killing the driver Sa’id ‘Atef Timraz, 26, and Muhammad Tamer al-‘Aidi, 28.

  • As the ceasefire ended at 8:00 A.M., Israeli shelling on the Gaza continued, killing 15 civilians, including four children.
  • 10:30 A.M. An airstrike hit al-Nur al-Mahmadi Mosque in Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood, killing Ibrahim Dawawsa, 10, while playing near his house.
  • 2:10 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house in al-Mashtal Street.
  • 8:00 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house in al-Zaytun neighbourhood.

North Gaza Governorate

  • Following the ceasefire which ended at 8:00 A.M., 42 people were injured in the Israeli shelling of North Gaza, including 11 children. Five houses were directly hit, destroying four and a mosque was struck and destroyed.

    Hamad Jum’a al-Najjar, 32, was announced dead due to injuries he sustained in previous shelling.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 12:00 A.M. Fayez Ismail Abu Hamad, 33, was declared dead. He was injured previously in the shelling of al-Zanna area.
  • Morning – Hathifa Ahmad Abu Elian, 19, was declared dead. He was previously injured in Absan al-Kabira. Khaled Zeyad al-Hindi, 15, was announced dead due to injuries he sustained on 29 July.

Gaza Governorate

  • Rajab Hasan Hmeid, 56, was announced dead. He was injured on 30 July 2014.
  • Paramedics and civil defence forces recovered three bodies from al-Shuja’iyya neighbourhood who were killed on 20 July 2014. The bodies belong to: Hamdiya Shamali, 57, her son ‘Arafat Shamali, 27, and Shaher Abu Halima, 29.

Central Governorate

  • Sana’ ‘Eid Abu Iqtifan, 41, was announced dead. Two bodies dead bodies were recovered; Husam Sami Abu Swereh, 24, and Mahmud Fayez al-Sharif, 21.

  • 1:00 A.M. One missile struck near al-Zahra’ clinic in al-Jnena neighbourhood, killing Tha’er Abu Jazr, 17, while near his house.
  • 1:25 A.M. A missile struck a street on al-Salam neighbourhood, killing Raghad Abu Mas’ud, 3, and injuring three others, who were in their house.
  • 3:00 A.M. One missile struck and partially destroyed a house in al-Shabura refugee camp, injuring one resident.
  • 7:00 A.M. A missile struck a group of people in Tal al-Sultan, killing Ashraf Abu Mash’al, 28, and injuring another.
  • 8:00 A.M. An airstrike hit a motorcycle in Tal al-Sultan, injuring one man.

  • 11:30 A.M. Za’al Musleh, 54, was announced dead. He was injured during an air missile that hit residential buildings in Tal al-Sultan.
  • 5:00 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a car garage in al-Shawka town.
  • 6:30 P.M. An unmanned drone struck a house in al-Barazil neighbourhood, killing Muhammad ‘Eweida, 14, and his sister Amal, 5, while on the roof of their house. At the same time, another drione struck a neighbouring house with no injuries reported.

  • 5:30 P.M. Mahmud al-Khalili, 7, was announced dead in one of the Egyptian hospitals. He was injured on 30 July when his house was shelled in al-Tuffah neighbourhood and killed all seven of his family.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 3:45 A.M. An airstrike hit and killed Izzdin T’ema, 19, a fighter, while on his motorcycle in Jabaliyya refugee camp.
  • 8:00 A.M. Wadi’a al-Zen, 29, was announced dead due to injuries she sustained following the shelling of al-Omari mosque in Jabaliyya on 29 July.
  • 10:30 A.M. Paramedics and civil defence forces recovered the bodies of two Palestinian fighters in al-Sefa area; Amro Muhjez, 22, and Waleed Drabi, 25. Abdallah Musa Mubarak’s body, 50, was recovered from east Jabaliyya.
  • 4:30 P.M. Eight decayed bodies were recovered from Beit Hanun, including three children, from the rubble of their house. The family was killed at the beginning of the ground invasion; Zaki Wahdan, 67, his wife Su’ad, 65, Baghdad Wahdan, 51, Zeinab Wahdan, 27, her sister Sumud, 22, and her child Ghina Yunis Saqr, 2, Ahmad Wahdan, 13, and Hussein Wahdan, 9. The four family members who survived this shelling were killed two days ago in an airstrike that hit Abul Qamsan residence in Jabaliyya.

Gaza Governorate

  • 2:30 A.M. Ahmad Abu Hen, 32, was announced dead. He was injured on 23 July following the shelling of his house in al-Shuja’iyya.
  • 6:00 A.M. Sheikh Radwan cemetery was hit in an airstrike, killing Nasralla al-Masri, 22, while in front of his house near the cemetery.
  • 6:45 A.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed an insurance company east of Ansar conjunction. The building was severely damaged as a result.
  • 10:00 A.M. Several artillery shells struck the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth floor of al-Thafer building, causing severe damages to the building.
  • 11:00 A.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house in Sheikh Radwan. The owner was phone called by Israeli intelligence to evacuate the house.
  • 5:00 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house in al-Nafaq Street.
  • 5:05 P.M. An airstrike hit and killed Qasem Muhammad Qasem, 26, a Palestinian resistance fighter.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 12:30 A.M. Two missiles struck a house in Jabaliyya, killing Jamila Wahdan, 28, Siniora Wahdan, 22, and Hatem Wahdan, 52. Twelve people, including four children were injured as a result.
  • 10:45 A.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house in Beit Lahia project, killing Ahed Badr, 20, and injuring 15 others. Ahed was killed while trying to provide medical assistance to the injured inside the house.
  • 7:10 A.M. A house was struck in Zamur area in Jabaliyya, killing the owner who’s a member of the resistance armed group.
  • 8:45 A.M. A house was struck with an air missile, killing Najah al-Sharafi, 48, her son Rajab, 9, and her nephew Mahmud al-Sharafi, 25. Three other family members were wounded as a result.
  • 12:30 P.M. Nur Wahdan, 2, was announced dead due to injuries she sustained earlier that morning in the shelling of her house in Jabaliyya.

  • 2:00 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Jnene neighbourhood, killing Issa al-Sha’er, 28, a Palestinian fighter, and another fighter who was inside his house at the time. Eight family members and neighbours were injured as a result.
  • 2:15 A.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed Muhammad Abu Jazar’s house, a Palestinian fighter, in Rafah city, killing Amani Abu Jazar, 23, and her children Firas, 3, and Amira, 2. Muhammad was seriously injured.
  • 2:30 P.M. Two airstrikes hit a group of militants in al-Furqan neighbourhood, killing one and injuring 15 people. Four houses were destroyed as a result.
  • 6:45 P.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in Yibna refugee camp, killing eight family members; Khadra al-Ghul, 60, her two daughters Hanadi, 25, and Asma, 23, and her sons Muhammad, 42, and Wa’el, 40, and his two children Mustafa, one month, and Malak, 6. Seven family members and neighbours were injured as a result.
  • 7:30 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Mawasi area, killing the owner Muhammad Abu Shaluf, 42, and his wife Khitam Abu Shaluf, 37, and injuring four of their children.
  • 9:00 P.M. An airstrike hit and killed Elham ‘Okal, 32, while cooking. A few minutes later, another airstrike hit her relatives while on their way to hospital, killing three of them: Turkia ‘Okal, 60, Muhammad ‘Okal, 18, and Mahmud ‘Okal.

  • 4:30 A.M. Several airstrikes hit and destroyed the Executive Administration of al-Islamiya University. Five floors were destroyed as a result and a conference hall was severely damaged.

  • 4:00 A.M. Airstrikes hit the al-Omari mosqye in Jabaliyya al-Balad, destroying big parts of it and killing the mosque crier Daoud Suleiman, 55.
  • 4:20 A.M. Two missiles struck al-Awda mosque in Jabaliyya refugee camp, destroying parts of it.
  • 6:00 A.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed the Aysha mosque in Jabaliyya.
  • 9:00 A.M. Yehia Shabat, 29, was announced dead. He was injured in the shelling of Beit Hanun on 26 July.

  • 8:00 P.M. A missile struck a three-wheeler in Bani Suhayla – Absan road, injuring some people. A few minutes later, a civilian car arrived to the scene to rescue the casualties as another missile struck the car, killing four people: Kamal Abu Ter, 46, his son Ahmad, 19, Nabil Najjar, 18, and a Palestinian resistance fighter.
  • Evening – An unmanned drone struck a motorcycle in al-Zanna, killing the driver who’s a member of the Palestinian resistance group.

  • Morning – Paramedics and civil defence forces recovered 31 bodies, including 10 children and two resistance fighters from the eastern areas of Rafah and from beneath the rubble of homes that were shelled on 1 August.
  • 11:00 A.M. One missile struck and killed Emad Sedam, 17, while near his house, in al-Mawasi area, which was previously shelled.
  • 11:30 A.M. Two missiles struck a house, killing six members of al-‘Arjani family in al-Hashash neighbourhood.
  • 12:15 P.M. One unmanned drone struck and partially destroyed a house in al-Swedeya village.
  • 1:00 P.M. Na’el al-‘Aloul, 25, was announced dead. He was injured on 1 August 2014, following the shelling of a motorcycle that he was riding with his brother in al-Jenena neighbourhood. Emad Ahmad Ahmad, 16, was killed in the same airstrike.
  • 1:45 P.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Hashash neighbourhood, killing three siblings; Abdelrahman al-Rumi, 18, Amin, 15, and Sumud, 5, along with their father Ahmad. Their mother along with two other siblings was injured.
  • 3:05 P.M. An airstrike hit and partially destroyed a house in Rafah city, killing the owner’s wife Sa’diya Abu Taha, 45, her grandchild, Rizq, 1, and her two nephews; Muhammad Abu Taha, 24, and Yusuf, 16. Three more people were injured.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 9:00 A.M. Basel al-Basyuni, 37, was announced dead.
  • 5:10 P.M. An airstrike hit an agricultural land in the Beit Lahia project, killing Su’ad al-Bahri, 74, and Sama al-Barawi, 10 months. They were both in the garden of their house and were killed due to shrapnel.
  • 5:50 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed the Jabaliyya police station.
  • 7:20 P.M. A missile struck and destroyed a five-storey house in Bait Lahia project, damaging three adjacent houses.
  • 10:35 P.M. Four missiles struck and destroyed the magistrate court in Jabaliyya al-Balad, injuring nine people, including five children.
  • 10:45 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house near the magistrate court.

Gaza Governorate

  • 8:15 A.M. Israeli forces located east of Gaza city opened fire at Amjad Hasanen, 21. He was shot in the head and died as a result. Amjad had gone to his house in al-Sha’af neighbourhood to bring his family, who had fled to one of the shelters, some needs.
  • 9:00 A.M. Paramedics recovered the bodies of Ismail Muhamadin, 26, and Mu’amar Shamali, 35, both of whom were killed on 20 July in al-Shuja’iyya.
  • 2:00 P.M. Paramedics and civil defence forces recovered four bodies from al-Shuja’iyya, belonging to Sai’d Abul Kas, 22, Hassan al-Sarsawi, 24, Na’el al-Sarsawi, 28, and Sharif Qanu’, 35.
  • 5:00 P.M. An airstrike hit a three-wheeler in al-Zaytun neighbourhood, killing five people: Tareq Yasin, 42, his son Fayez, 16, Muhammad Yasin, 25, Hussein Yasin, 30, and Suheil Shamlakh, 23.
  • 8:30 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a three-storey house in al-Sabra neighbourhood. Three neighbouring houses were damaged.
  • 11:00 P.M. An airstrike hit and killed Salah Musa, 30, while near al-Abrar mosque in al-Zaytun neighbourhood.
  • 11:30 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house, killing its residents: Ahmad al-Nerab, 67, his wife Suheila, 35, and their children Muhammad, 14, Mo’men, 8, and Mahmud, 10.

Rafah Governorate

  • 7:00 A.M. Without prior warning, a missile struck and destroyed a house in Tabet Zra’. Only two residents of the house were found dead: Helal Abu Omran, 23, and Musa Abu Omran, 45, while the rest remain in the rubble.
    Following the Israeli claims that an Israeli soldier was kidnapped in the eastern side of Rafah, and during the humanitarian ceasefire which commenced at 8:00 A.M. on 1 August, thousands of residents of the eastern side of Rafah started heading back to their homes to check on them. At approximately 10:00 A.M., Israeli tanks situated in the area, heavily fired indiscriminate artillery shells at the area. Israeli aircrafts opened fire at the civilians directly who were on the streets in large numbers. Some houses were directly targeted, destroying many with the residents still in them, particularly in al-Shawka town, Tabet Zira’, al-Mashro’, al-Nasr, and Tanur neighbourhood. Abu Yusuf al-Najjar Hospital was shelled as well, killing 40 civilians and injuring tens. The hospital’s administration had to evacuate the patients from the hospital due to the indiscriminate shelling in its premises. Afterwards, Israeli forces invaded al-Shawka town 1,500 metres deep and started sending messages to the residents through the radio stations to remain in their houses. The messages also ordered the residents not to leave or enter Rafah. The Israeli forces continued to commit atrocities against the area till the morning of 2 August, and increased the shelling through airstrikes and artillery shells. Some civilians were targeted while near their houses and on the streets. An ambulance was struck in Misbeh neighbourhood, killing three paramedics: Atef al-Zamali, 42, Yusef al-Zamali, 33, and Yusef Drabih, 25. This attack on Rafah resulted in the killing of 83, including 33 children, all of whom are civilians. Around 300 civilians were injured, many of whom are children. 24 houses were destroyed as a result, six of which were destroyed while residents were inside of them, killing more than 37 people in such incidents.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 3:00 A.M. Three missiles struck a three-storey house in Ma’an. The house was destroyed and caught fire. Several residents were injured who tried to escape. While they were escaping, a fourth missile struck and killed nine, including five children: Abdel Malek al-Farra, 60, his son Usama, 34, Awatef al-Fara, 31, who’s eight months pregnant, her two children Abdelrahman, 8, and Lujein, 4, and Nadine al-Farra, 16, Yara, 8, Muhammad, 12, and Emad al-Farra, 28.
  • 4:30 A.M. Artillery shells struck and hit several residential houses in Bani Suhayla, killing six people and injuring 40 others: Ra’ed al-Qara, 39, Muhammad al-Brim, 25, his brother Ra’fat, 7, Abdallah al-Brim, 23, and the two brothers Husam al-Madani, 18, and Sami, 20.
  • 8:00 A.M. During the humanitarian ceasefire, hundreds of people, paramedics and civil defence forces were able to enter Khuza’a town, which had been under Israeli control for the past two weeks. 34 bodies, 27 of whom belong to resistance fighters, were recovered. From these bodies, 31 were recovered from Khuza’a and three from Absan al-Kabira nearby. Six of the resistance fighters were found inside a bathroom in one of the houses in Khuza’a with bullet holes in their bodies and blood on the walls of the bathroom. It is assumed that Israeli forces shot them dead after they had captured them. Severe damages were caused to the infrastructure, houses and agricultural lands in the area. The following bodies were identified: Muhammad Najjar, 100, Suleiman Najjar, 65, Ghadir Abu Rjela, 25, Eyad Abu Reda, Salem Qdeh, 62, his son Ahmad, 19. Seven bodies were recovered from al-Qarara, four of whom are civilians, including one child: Haitham al-Smeiri, 12, Adel Muhana, 55, his son Nurdin, 27, and Emad Muhanna.
  • Morning – Mervat Abu Rjela, 32, was announced dead in an Egyptian hospital. Ranin al-Qarra, 14, was announced dead. She was injured during the shelling of Bani Suhayla.
  • 1:00 P.M. One unmanned drone struck the roof of the Red Crescent in al-Amal neighbourhood.
  • 1:30 P.M. A missile struck a deserted house located near al-Aqsa University, killing two fighters who were inside.
  • 8:00 P.M. Several artillery shells hit different areas in Khan Yunis, destroying a house and killing Wajih Shat, 25, while on the balcony of his house. Four children were injured. At the same time, another shell struck a street in al-Kutayba neighbourhood, killing Omar Breikh, 15, while on the street.
  • 8:45 P.M. An artillery shell struck and destroyed a house in Bani Suhayla, killing the owner Yasser Abu Sa’id, and injuring his wife and daughter.
  • 9:00 P.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a four-storey house in Khan Yunis.
  • 11:30 P.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house in Khan Yunis refugee camp. Three adjacent houses were destroyed as a result and thirty people were injured mostly women and children.

Central Governorate

  • 12:00 A.M. Muhammad Hamad, 26, was announced dead. He was injured on 25 July during the shelling of al-Nusseirat refugee camp.
  • Morning – paramedics were able to recover two bodies belonging to Palestinian fighters from Hijr al-Dik.
  • 4:30 P.M. Paramedics recovered the body of Atef Qandil, 23, from the rubble of al-Uthmani house in al-Maghazi refugee camp and which was struck on 31 July.
  • 5:30 P.M. Three airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in al-Nusseirat refugee camp.

  • 5:00 A.M. Nur al-Ja’al, 5, was announced dead following the shelling of their house in al-Sabra neighbourhood. Her sister and grandmother were also killed as a result.
  • 6:00 A.M. A house was struck and destroyed by an Israeli missile in al-Nasr neighbourhood.
  • 6:30 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Tuffah neighbourhood.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 5:50 A.M. A water treatment facility and which is located near the Halab Elementary school UNRWA shelter, was hit with an air missile, injuring 16 people, including 13 children.
  • 2:30 P.M. An airstrike hit a civilian car in al-Sha’af area, killing Ibrahim al-Haddad, 21, and Hamza al-Haddad, 21.
  • 3:00 P.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Jalaa Street.
  • 3:15 P.M. Musa Hashem, 80, died from a heart attack following the shelling that hit near his house in al-Sabra neighbourhood.
  • 5:30 P.M. A missile struck a civilian car in the city centre, killing two brothers: Muhammad Na’im, 21, and Husam, 16.
  • 10:00 P.M. Israeli forces situated east to Gaza city opened fire at Maher Hajjaj, 54, while on his way back to his house in al-Tuffah neighbourhood. He was shot in the head and was killed as a result.

Rafah Governorate

  • 9:15 A.M. An airstrike hit a house in al-Jnena neighbourhood, killing Maha Abu Hilal, 33, and injuring her husband. The house caught fire as a result.
  • 9:30 A.M. Three missiles struck a residential building, wherein four families live, in al-Jnena neighbourhood. The building caught fire and four children were injured as a result.
  • 11:30 A.M. One missile struck and killed a member of the Palestinian resistance movement, near al-Salam neighbourhood.
  • 3:00 P.M. An apartment was struck and partially destroyed in Zu’rob Building. Many neighbouring houses were also damaged.
  • 6:30 P.M. An unmanned drone struck and killed Attia al-Hashash, 68, in al-Hashash neighbourhood.

The house, along with a neighbouring house, were both destroyed while the residents were still in it, killing 12 people: Ni’ma Abu Shuqa, 43, Labiba Abu Shuqa, 22, Elham Abu Shuqa, 18, Malak Abu Shuqa, 2, Hasan Zaqout, 21, Abir al-Bayumi, 27, Asil al-Bayumi, 16, Hadeel al-Bayumi, 15, Hasan al-Bayumi, 12, Abir al-Asar, 27, Renad al-Assar, one and a half years old, and Lama al-Assar, 6. The Abu Shuqa family had fled their house in al-Brej refugee camp and took shelter at the Bayumi’s house.

  • 4:30 A.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a residential apartment in al-Jala Street, destroying four floors of the building.

  • 9:30 A.M. Usama al-Hilo, 5, was announced dead. He was injured after his house had been shelled in al-Shate' refugee camp.
    Ibrahim Hamad, 19, and Ali Seyam, 22, were announced dead due to injuries sustained five days ago.
  • 2:00 P.M. Ahmad Bakr, 19, was announced dead due to injuries he sustained last week.
  • 4:30 P.M. Two airstrikes hit the twelfth and thirteenth floors of the al-Basha Building.
  • 4:30 P.M. During the four-hour ceasefire announced by Israel between 3:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., Israeli tanks situated at the eastern buffer zone fired several artillery shells at al-Bastat market in Shuja’iyya and its premises. Thirty civilians were killed as a result, including seven children, three journalists, a fireman, and a paramedic. Ten members of al-Silk family were killed as they were on the roof of their house. Around 200 others were injured.   • 12:30 P.M. One missile hit and destroyed a house in Sheikh Radwan, injuring five people.
  • 5:00 P.M. An airstrike hit the fourteenth floor of al-Jundi Building.
  • 10:45 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed Hamza Bin Abdel Mutalleb Mosque in Tal al-Hawa, which is located in a residential area and near UNRWA shelters.
    Paramedics and civil defence forces recovered the bodies of two fighters from al-Shuja’iyya: Khaled Misbeh, 26, and Hamza Mheisen, 24, in addition to another child Dana Daher, one year old.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 5:15 A.M. Six artillery shells were fired, three of which landed inside Jabaliyya Girls' Elementary School A and B, also known as Abu Hussein School, which is located in Jabaliyya refugee camp. The three other shells fell in the premises of the schools. The school has been serving as an UNRWA shelter for those who were displaced from their houses. One of the shells fell inside one of the classrooms on the second floor of the school, where 25 people, including children, were staying. A shell hit the bathrooms, another hit the near the entrance of the school, while a fourth hit the entrance and another two shells hit houses near the school. Fifteen people were killed as a result of this attack, including five children, while inside the school: Lo'ay al-Firi, 34, Muhammad Ghaban, 32, Usama Suhwel, 17, Ramadan Salman, 23, his sister Ala', 17, and Jihad al-Dayem, 48, and his son Abdeljalil, 14, and Ali Shahin, 16, Adel Qamar, 50, Abdallah al-Amudi, 19, his brother Belal, 26, Abdelrahman Barakat, 9, and three others who remain unidentified. Two others were killed outside the school: Shaher al-Najjar, 54, his brother Basem, 42. Additionally, 153 people were injured, including 69 children.
  • 10:30 A.M. Muhammad al-Masri, 24, was announced dead due to injuries he sustained on 21 July 2014 in Bait Hanun. Muhammad Assaf, 8 months old, due to injuries he sustained from the shelling of residential buildings in Jabaliyya the day before.
  • 10:50 A.M. Airstrikes hit and destroyed a house near Jabaliyya al-Balad market, killing Adi Jneid, 19, and injuring 27 others, including 16 children.
  • 11:15 A.M. An airstrike hit a group of people while near Said Musallam Mosque in Bait Lahia, killing Abdeljalil Abu Shadaq, 41, and Jamal Abu Shadaq, 41, and injuring two others.

Seven people were killed as a result of the shelling: Ibrahim Hijazi, 80, his wife Mariam, 70, their daughter Subhiya, 50, and their grandchild Salah Hijazi, 13, who were all killed while inside of their house. Zeinab Abu Jazar, 50, was killed inside of her house. Mahmud Hijazi, 18, and Ramadan Abu Taha, 18, were both walking on the street at the time of the incident and were both killed. Twenty more people were injured.
  • Noon – one missile struck the minaret of al-Nur Mosque in al-Satr al-Gharbi.
  • 1:00 P.M. A missile struck a house in Bani Suhayla, killing Mahdiya al-Raqab, 68, while inside her house.
  • 1:15 P.M. Four missiles struck and severely damaged two houses which belong to Hamdi al-Sha’er.

Rafah Governorate

  • 12:15 A.M. Without prior warning, four missiles struck a house in east of Rafah city, killing seven family members: Ahmad abu Zeid, 24, his wife Shama, 16, Sabrin, 30, and her daughter Besan, 12, Mariam, 31, and her son Abdallah, 5, and Falastin, 26. Fourteen family members were injured. The house was partially destroyed while an adjacent house was destroyed.
  • 2:00 A.M. Two missiles struck al-Salahin mosque near al-Nuzha Street, and partially destroyed it.
  • 3:10 A.M. One unmanned drone followed by another missile struck and destroyed a house in Khirbet al-Adas. Many residents were injured.
  • 3:00 A.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Tannur neighbourhood.
  • 4:45 A.M. Without prior warning, two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Misbeh neighbourhood, killing seven family members: Turkia Dher, 66, her sons Izzat, 23, and Omar, 38, Omar, 12, Maria, 12, Yasmeen, 24, and her chil Tasnim, 8, Wafa, 28. Four others were wounded while the rest of the family were buried in the rubble and the paramedics are still looking for them.

Their house had been struck that morning. The civil defence is still looking for seven other members of the family in the rubble.
  • 6:45 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in al-Barazil area, injuring two people.
  • 9:00 P.M. One house was struck and destroyed with two airstrikes in Misbeh neighbourhood.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 12:30 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Qarara, killing Ahmad Farawna, 23, and injuring three others.
  • 1:00 A.M. One missile struck a house west of al-Qarara.
  • 1:15 A.M. One missile struck a house in Ma'an area, killing Siham al-Najjar, 46, and her daughter Aida, 21, and her baby daughet Sarah Abdel Ghafour. Seven others were injured.
  • 2:00 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in Ma'an area.
  • 5:30 A.M. Without prior warning, one missile struck and destroyed a house in Qezan al-Najjar, killing seven residents: Muhammad al-Najjar, 54, and his children Isam, 24, Islam, 15, Ata, 33, and two grandchildren, 2 and 3 years old, and Khaled al-Najjar, 23. Four more residents of the house were injured. At the same time, another house was struck killing six family members: Fawzia al-Najjar, 80, Muna al-Najjar, 43, and her son Jihad, 24, and his daughter, Muna, 1, and Hamad al-Najjar, 23, and Muhammad al-Njjar, 30.
  • 7:30 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed an apartment in a residential building in Khan Younis, killing seven, including children and injuring 15 others: Lama and Jana Breika, three and one year old, Jamil al-Najjar, 23, and his daughter Lamia, 23, and his son Muhammad, 12, Aya al-Ramlawi, 9, and Aya Abu Sita, 23. The paramedics and civil defence forces are still searching the rubble for more bodies.
  • 8:30 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed two houses in south of Khan Younis.
  • Since the early morning, Civil Defence and paramedics have been searching through the rubble of a residential building which was struck on the same day. Five families of 60 members live in that building. In addition to the seven bodies that had been already recovered, 29 more bodies were recovered from the rubble. Sixteen of these bodies belong Abu Amer family: Waddah, 39, his wife Uruba, 41, and their five children Omar, 12, Abdelghani, 11, Emad, 10, Issa, 8, Izzdin, 4, and Ahmad Abu Amer, 36, his brother Muhammad, 20, Ahmad, 40, his wife Muna, 41, and their five children Muhammad, 12, Marah, 10, Yasser, 9, Marwa, 5, and Suleiman, 2. Four other bodies, who belong to al-Najjar family were recovered as well: Aya, 19, her sister Dua', 18, and their brother Wa'el, 25, and his daughter Layali, 2. Their father and two other brothers' bodies had been previously recovered. Five more bodies belonging to the Breika family were also recovered: Fayez, 55, his wife Subhiyya, 59, and three of their children; Ahmad, 32, Lamia, 16, and Usama, 16. The total number of the Breika family lost in this attack amounts to seven, including two babies whose bodies were recovered earlier. Four bodies belonging to the Mu'amar family were also recovered: Ahmad, 33, and his two children, Hala, 1, and Yazan, 3, and his sister Hind, 30. Ahmad's wife was pulled from the rubble suffering serious injuries.
  • In the evening, paramedics recovered six bodies from the rubble of al-Agha house in Ma'an area. The house was shelled earlier in the day. The family members who were killed as a result are: Nariman, 39, her child Eyad, 16, Abdelhamid, 24, Majdi, 24, Ahmad, 55, and his son Mustafa, 30. Ibtisam al-Najjar, 21, was announced dead. Her house had been struck on 28 July, killing her husband and two children. Maysa al-Najjar, 18, was recovered from the rubble of her house which was shelled earlier. Her husband and one-year-old baby, Muna, were also pulled out of the rubble dead.
  • 1:00 P.M. An airstrike hit and killed Emad Qdeh, 24, in Absan al-Kabira.
  • 1:30 P.M. Zaher al-Najjar, 7, was announced due to an injury sustained in the head.
  • 2:00 P.M. An airstrike hit al-Qubba Mosque, causing damage.
  • 3:15 P.M. An unmanned drone struck and damaged a house in Khan Yunis refugee camp, injuring three people and damaging a neighbouring house.
  • 4:30 P.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in Bani Suhayla, injuring three people.

  • 9:00 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house, wherein three families live, in al-Nusseirat refugee camp.
    Hala Abu Jabr, 9, and Wasmia Abu Jabr's, 28, dead bodies were recovered from the rubble of their house in al-Brej refugee camp which was shelled the day before, killing 16 people.
    The following bodies were recovered during the evening: Hanan al-Far, 15, her sisters Amal, 28, Nivin, 18, and Fatma al-Far, 55, her sister Zenat, 50, and Reham al-Far, 24, all from the rubble of their home in al-Maghazi refugee camp. The house was shelled the day before.

Gaza Governorate

  • 12:00 A.M. Israeli gunboats fired dozens of artillery shells and destroyed 13 residential houses in Abu Hasira Street.
  • 2:00 A.M. Dozens of artillery shells struck residential houses killing Suhayla al-Ja'l, 63, and causing damage to houses.
  • 2:30 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house.
  • 2:50 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed al-Aqsa Station in al-Nasra neighbourhood.
  • 3:30 A.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed the Ministry of Finance. An adjacent mosque was severely damaged and several other houses.
  • 3:00 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed al-Amin Muhammad Mosque.
  • 4:00 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed another building for al-Aqsa Station.
  • 4:05 A.M. Another missile struck the building of al-Aqsa Station in al-Nasr neighbourhood. Another headquarter was struck in al-Remal neighbourhood and destroyed. A few minutes later, another missile struck another office for the station and destroyed it.
  • 5:00 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed al-Mashtal, a location used by fighter. Rahaf Farhat, one month old, fell from her bed due to the severity of the airstrike which led to her death.
  • Sunday evening – Monday Morning: Israeli forces fired dozens of flares in the sky of Gaza along with dozens of artillery shells and gas bombs. Iman Habib, 41, was killed while inside an UNRWA shelter in Tal al-Hawa.
  • 8:00 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Nasr neighbourhood.
  • 4:00 P.M. Nada al-Ja'al, 2 years old, was announced dead due to injuries she sustained after her house had been shelled two days ago.
  • 12:00 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed an apartment in Palestine Tower in al-Remal neighbourhood.
  • 5:10 P.M. One missile hit and destroyed a house in Tal al-Hawa.
  • 5:30 P.M. Artillery shells hit east of Gaza city, killing Fatma Abu Arar, 24, and injuring her sister.
  • 5:35 P.M. An artillery shell hit a house in al-Zaytun neighbourhood, killing Musa Abu Sawawin, 44, while sitting in front of his house.

North Gaza Governorate

    • 12:30 A.M. Fayza al-Nadi, 59, was announced dead due to injuries she sustained following a shell that hit her house in Jabaliyya the day before.
    • 2:40 A.M. One missile struck a storage building in Jabaliyya, causing fire.
    • 4:00 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a bus in Tal al-Za'tar.
    • 8:30 A.M. One missile struck a group of fighters in Jabaliyya, killing one and injuring another.
    • 9:55 A.M. One missile struck a house in Beit Lahia, killing Suhel Abderabo, 32, and his wife Mervat Abdrabo, 31, and their daughter Nagham, 12.
      In the past two days, five houses were struck and destroyed.
    • 4:10 P.M. Dozens of artillery shells were fired in the direction of al-Faluja cemetery ad Aysha Mosque in Jabaliyya. A house was shelled in the same area, killing Sahar Balata, 39, and her daughters Mariam, 24, Isra', 13, Dua', 22, Hana, 19, Wafa, 21, Alaa, 14, and her son Yehia, 4, and her niece Hadeel, 17. Several houses in the premises were damaged while 41 people, including 17 children were wounded as a result.
    • 4:10 P.M. Several artillery shells struck al-Naj'a in Jabaliyya, hitting residential houses. Munir al-Hajjar, 38, who works as a social worker at the UNRWA, was with his son Ibrahim, 5 years old, and his brother Bashir, 48, attempting to leave the area using an UNRWA car. Artillery shells hit near their car, killing Munir and Bashir, and injuring Ibrahim. Meanwhile, more artillery shells struck residential areas, killing Muhammad Ghandur, 15, and Jude Abu Eida, 8 months, and injuring 11 others, including three children.
    • 10:40 P.M. Dozens of artillery shells struck several streets in Jabaliyya, killing Nihad Hamuda, 38, and her children Bara', 6, and Halima, one year and a half, and Kai'nat Hamuda, 40, and her child Hanin, 3, and Majida Hamuda, 50, and Baraka Abdrabo, 51, and her children Alaa, 29, and his daughter Rahaf, 2, and Ibrahim Abdrabo, 21, and Muhammad Abdrabo, 25, and his son Jamal, one and a half years old, and Halima al-Batsh, 24, and her daughter Aya. A fireman was killed in the same attack, Muhammad Musallam, 28, while 62 people were injured, including 23 children.

  • 4:45 P.M. An artillery shell struck a group of children on the first day of Eid in al-Shate' refugee camp. Ten children and an elderly man were killed while another 22 were injured, including six children: Yusef Hassuna, 11, Mahmud Shbeir, 12, his brother Ahmad, 10, Jamal Elayan, 8, Bara' Miqdad, 7, Muhammad Miqdad, 13, Muhammad Abu Shaqfa, 7, Muhammad Barud, 10, Ahmad Weshah, 10, Mansur Hajjaj, 14, and Subhi Awad, 65.
    Zakariyya al-Batsh, 20, and Hussam Radi, 43, were announced dead while receiving medical treatment in Jordan.
  • 5:00 P.M. Three bodies belonging to fighters arrived to al-Shifa Hospital after they had been killed in al-Zaytun neighbourhood.
  • 10:30 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house in Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood, killing Mahmud Abu Kweik, 29.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 11:50 P.M. Israeli forces opened fire at houses in east of Jabaliyya, killing Rizq Jneid, 5. Rizq was shot in the heart and left arm which led to his death.
  • 12:30 P.M. A missile hit a group of militants in east Jabaliyya, killing one.
  • 2:00 P.M. A fighter's body was recovered from Bait Hanun by paramedics.
  • 7:50 P.M. Dozens of artillery shells struck near Abul Kheir Mosque in Jabaliyya, killing five, including three children: Muhammad Alwan, 9, Hind Qadura, 10, and her brother Yusef, 11, Mariam Abdrabo, 67, and Muhammad Abu Khalifa, 29.

Rafah Governorate

  • 7:00 P.M. Muhammad Seyam, 7, was announced dead due to injuries he sustained in an airstrike that hit near his house on 24 July 2014. Muhammad was transferred to a hospital in Egypt where he was announced dead.
  • 10:45 P.M. Two airstrikes hit storage room in al-Seyamat neighbourhood, causing fire.
  • 11:00 P.M. Four air missiles struck and damaged al-Sabrin mosque in al-Seyamat neighbourhood.
  • 11:30 P.M. Two unmanned drones struck and partially destroyed a house in al-Seyamat neighbourhood.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 12:45 A.M. Dawlat Qdeh, 17, was announced dead in the hospital following an airstrike that hit the three-wheeler she was riding. Dawlat was attempting to flee with her father and family from Khuza'a. Bother her father and brother and another citizen were killed in the strike.
  • 12:30 P.M. Paramedics and the Red Cross were allowed entry into two neighbourhoods in Khuza'a looking for casualties. Three bodies were recovered, including a father and his son who were killed earlier: Muhammad Qdeh, 75, his son Akram, 45, and Muhammad Tawfiq Qdeh, 58. Muhammad was shot dead on 25 July 2014 while trying to escape the area. He was left to bleed to death. Another four wounded were also found.
  • 5:20 P.M. One unmanned drone struck followed by a missile struck and destroyed a house in Bani Suhayla. Injuries were reported.
  • 7:20 P.M. One unmanned drone struck and killed Yehia al-Aqqad, 49, and injured three others in al-Manara neighbourhood.
  • 8:30 P.M. An airstrike hit a house in al-Qarara, killing Mustafa al-Abadla, 26, a Palestinian fighter.
  • 9:00 P.M. One missile struck a house in al-Sheikh Nasser, killing two and injuring 20 others: Mahmud al-Qassas, 24, and Shadi Farawna, 35.
  • 9:45 P.M. An airstrike hit and killed four and injured two near Al Yasser Mosque in Bani Suhayla: Khaled al-Raqab, 42, his son Rami, 15, Naji al-Raqab, 39, and Hussein Abu Saqr, 16.

  • 9:40 A.M. An unmanned drone struck a motorcycle in Bani Suhayla, killing Isam Abu Sa'ada, 35.
  • 10:45 A.M. An airstrike hit and killed Hazem Abu Shamale, 33, in Absan al-Kabira, and injured three others.
  • 11:00 A.M. An airstrike hit and killed Khaled Sahmud, 30, in Absan al-Kabira.
  • 11:00 A.M. An airstrike hit and damaged a hosue in Bani Suhayla.
  • 3:25 P.M. An airstrike hit a house in Bani Suhayla.
  • 5:30 P.M. Two missiles struck a motorcycle, killing Isam Abu Shab, 42, Hussein Abu Naja, 65, and Ahmad Abu Naja, 15.

Central Governorate

  • 12:00 A.M. Ikram al-Shinbari, 23, was announced dead. She was injured in an airstrike that hit the UNRWA shelter in Beit Hanun on 24 July 2014.
    The Palestinian Ministry of Health had to evacuate Beit Hanun Governmental Hospital and close it down, as it's been shelled several times.
  • 3:00 P.M. Five bodies that were recovered from Beit Lahia, Beit Hanun, Izbet Beit Hanun, Izbet Abdrabo, and al-Salam neighbourhood in Jabaliyya, were identified and belong to fighters.

Gaza Governorate

  • Israeli airstrikes hit houses, residential apartments, the Ministry of Finance, and al-Aqsa station.
  • 12:30 P.M. Yusef al-Masri, 24, was killed in an airstrike that hit and destroyed a house in al-Shuja'iyya.
  • 1:40 P.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Tuffah neighbourhood.
  • 2:00 P.M. An artillery shell hit a house near Gaza harbour, killing Jalila 'Ayyad, 65, and injuring her husband and children, George, 75, Jeries, 31, and Anton, 27.
  • 2:10 P.M. One missile struck and destroyed an apartment in al-Fayruz residential tower north of Gaza city.
  • 4:30 P.M. An airstrike hit and damaged the fourth floor of al-Helo tower in the centre of Gaza city.
  • 5:30 P.M. Paramedics recovered five bodies from the rubble. The bodies belong to the Daher family, whose house was struck on 20 July, killing Majed, 54, his wife Hanan, 48, and their children, Narmin, 13, Shaima, 10, and Adham, 18.

Saturday 26 July

Gaza Governorate

  • 1:00 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and killed two in Sheikh Radwan: Islam al-Naji, 19, and Muhammad Saqqa, 20.
  • 2:30 A.M. Two missiles struck a house, killing Abel Aziz al-Kjak, 54, and Hussam Yasin, 18. Following the strike, Fadl al-Atawna, 32, took Abdel Aziz and Hussam to hospital. On his way back, his car was struck and he was immediately killed.
  • 6:00 A.M. One unmanned drone struck and damaged a house in al-Nafaq Street.
  • 8:00 A.M. During the ceasefire, paramedics and the civil defence forces managed to recover the following dead bodies: Amjad al-Sarifi, 22, Hazem al-Mbayyed, 30, Azmi Badwan, 16, Sharif al-Qarshali, 26, Muhammad al-Ghamari, 23, Aziza Abu Shanab, 60, her son Abdel Karim, 39, all from al-Shuja'iyya. In addition to, Abdallah al-Batsh, 22, from al-Tuffah, Salem al-Shamali, 21, who is a volunteer with the civil defence in al-Sha'af area, and Abdel Razaq al-Amarin, 27, from al-Zaytun. Two brothers' bodies were also recovered; Ismail Abu Ghanima, 26, and Ibrahim, 16.
    37 bodies were recovered from areas in eastern Gaza, 32 of whom are civilians, including four children: Sami al-Arir, 50, Muhammad al-Arir, 30, Hasan al-Arir, 30, Abdel Karim al-Arir, 30, Fathi al-Arir, 20. They were all killed in an airstrike that hit their house in al-Shuja'iyya on 20 July 2014.
    Paramedics recovered the body of Khaled Badwan, 48, who was killed on 23 July 2014, along with his son 'Azmi, 16, following the shelling of their house.
    Abdel Rahman Abu Hen's body, 28, was found in his house in al-Shujai'yya. He was killed on 23 July 2014, when an airstrike hit his house.
    Muhammad Abu Balta, 28, was found dead in his house in al-Sha'af area, after it had been shelled on 22 July 2014.
    Mahmoud al-Esh, 23, was killed while trying to escape from his house. Fadi Habib, 35, and Omar Khalil, 25, who were killed during the indiscriminate shelling of al-Shujai'yya on 21 July 2014.
    Two fighters were killed on 20 July 2014.
    Adham Daher, 18, was killed when his house was shelled in al-Shujai'yya on 23 July 2014. A fighter was also killed in the same neighbourhood on the same day.
    Muhammad Shabet, 25, was killed due to an airstrike that his hosue in al-Tuffah on 23 July.
    Mahmud Hajjaj, 34, was killed in an airstrike that his house on 21 July.
    More bodies were recovered from Abu al-Ata family house: Muhammad, 32, Mus'ab, 21, Muhammad, 28, who were killed in airstrike that hit their house in al-Shuja'iyya on 20 July.
    Farid Habib, 30, was killed on 20 July while trying to escape his house in al-Sha'af. Shaker al-Jamal, 48, was killed following the shelling of his house on 20 July. Ahmad Ahl, 76, was killed while inside his house on 20 July. Two brothers; Ismai'l Abu Ghneima, 26, and Ibrahim, 28, were killed in an airstrike that their house in al-Shuja'iyya on 23 July.
    Two fighters aged 25 were killed in al-Zaytun and al-Shujai'yya neighbourhoods.
    A house was struck on 20 July, killing members of al-Hilo family: Jihad, 59, his wife Siham, 57, their children: Muhammad, 29, Tahrir, 20, Najia, 15, Ahmad, 27, his wife Hidaya, 25, and their children: Maram, 2, Karim and Karam, five months.
  • 1:00 P.M. A 22-year-old fighter was announced dead.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 8:00 A.M. During the ceasefire, paramedics and civil defence forces recovered many bodies from Bait Hanun, Bait Lahia and Izbet Abed Rabo. The following were identified: Fawzi Abu Amsha, 60, and his wife Ni'ma, 55. Nine bodies belonging to fighters were also recovered.
    Paramedics and civil defence forces recovered 26 bodies from Bait Hanun, Bait Lahia and Izbet Abd Rabo, three of whom are civilians: Muhammad Abu Khosa, 75, Salman Sama'na, 62, and Dua' Sa'ada, 11.
  • 1:30 P.M. Muhammad Baba, 40, was announced dead due to injuries sustained following the shelling of his house in Bait Lahia that morning.
  • 7:00 P.M. Yusef Hamuda, 16, was announced dead due to injuries sustained four days ago.

Rafah Governorate

  • 8:00 A.M. During the ceasefire, paramedics managed to recover bodies from al-Shawka town: Heyam Abu Mur, 38, whose body was found near her house, after she'd been hit nine days ago. Information from the field shows that tens of houses were destroyed during the invasion of the town.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 3:00 A.M. Without prior warning, an airstrike hit and destroyed a house in Sheikh Naser area, killing 20 residents, including 11 children: Samir Najjar, 58, his wife Ghalia, 56, and their children: Majed, 19, Kifah, 24, Samar, 27, and her kids: Amir, 2, Islam, 3, Amira, Hamuda, eight months, and Riham Najjar Abu Jame', 25, who was pregnant, and her kids: Ulfat, 4, Samir. 1.5, Mu'taz, 6, and Iman Najjar al-Raqab, 23, who was pregnant, and her child Ghalia, 1.5, and her sister Bara'a al-Raqab, 11, and Khalil Najjar, 60, and Rawan, 17, and her brother Ahmad, 14, and Samiya Najjar Abu Yusuf, 50, and her son Suleiman Najjar, 7.
  • At dawn, dozens of artillery shells and for several hours struck residential areas and agricultural lands in al-Qarara. Additionally, four houses were struck and destroyed by aerial missiles. An electricity base, in addition to other infrastructure, was hit and destroyed.
  • 8:00 A.M. During the ceasefire, paramedics managed to recover 39 bodies in Bani Suhayla, al-Fukhari and al-Qarara. Tens of houses were destroyed in al-Qarara and al-Zanna areas due to the heavy shelling of the area.
  • 12:00 P.M. Ali al-Astal, 32, was announced dead due to injuries sustained in an airstrike.
    In the evening, Israeli forces released 20 Palestinians from Eretz Crossing, who were arrested during the invasion on Khuza'a. They were admitted to hospital due to injuries they sustained.

  • 1:00 A.M. One unmanned drone, followed by another missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Brej refugee camp.
  • 2:15 A.M. An unmanned drone struck and killed Abdalla Rmeilat, 37, in al-Zawayda village.
  • 5:00 A.M. Five missiles struck and destroyed a five-storey house in al-Maghazi refugee camp.
  • 8:30 A.M. Two-year-old Anwar Yusuf died as a result of a heart attack following the shelling that hit near his house in al-Nusseirat refugee camp.
  • 8:00 A.M. During the ceasefire, Israeli forces retreated from the eastern side of al-Maghazi refugee camp and Hajr al-Dik village. Paramedics managed to recover 15 bodies and more wounded people from the area.

  • 1:30 A.M. One missile struck the fourth floor of Palestine building and caused damage.
  • 6:00 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood.
  • 6:10 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood.
  • 12:00 P.M. Airstrikes hit near a mosque in al-Mighrafa area, killing Hassan al-Hawari, 25, and Naji Abu Amuna, 25.
  • 12:30 P.M. Israeli snipers shot and killed Waleed al-Harazin, 7, in al-Shuja'iyyah neighbourhood. Waleed was shot in the head while on his way with his mother to check on their house which they evacuated about a week ago.
  • 1:00 P.M. Three fighters' bodies were recovered in al-Zaytub neighbourhood.
  • 4:00 P.M. One missile struck a three-storey house in al-Zaytun neighbourhood, killing two fighters inside.
  • 5:00 P.M. Muhammad Hajji's body, 24, was recovered from underneath the rubbles in al-Zaytun neighbourhood.

  • 8:00 A.M. A cow farm was hit with artillery shells east of Jabaliyya, killing Ibrahim al-Sama'na, 17, who was milking cows then.

Eight residential houses were struck with artillery shells, destroying one and causing damage to seven.

  • 3:30 P.M. Aysha al-Shinbari, 72, was announced dead to injuries she sustained while in Beit Hanun UNRWA School which is used as a shelter.
  • 4:30 P.M. An artillery shell struck an Red Crescent ambulance while on its way to recover the wounded in al-Masriyin Street in Bait Hanun. One paramedic was killed, A'ed al-Bir'i, 28, while another two were injured. Following coordination through the Red Cross, another ambulance was sent to recover the paramedic's body. The ambulance was shot at, injuring another paramedic and damaging the ambulance.
  • 10:00 P.M. Rami al-Shishi, 30, was announced dead.
  • 10:30 P.M. One missile struck and damaged a house in east of Jabaliyya.
  • 11:00 P.M. Dozens of artillery shells struck a Bait Hanun Hospital for several hours, damaging the upper floor, particularly the surgical and women's units. Three workers were injured. This is the fifth time that the hospital is directly targeted.

Rafah Governorate

  • 3:00 P.M. One unmanned drone struck and killed a fighter in al-Shawka town. Another drone and killed another fighter, around 100 metres away.
  • 3:15 P.M. One missile struck a tunnel near Salah al-Din gate, killing two fighters.
  • 7:30 P.M. One unmanned drone struck a motorcycle, killing Mazen Abdeen, 25, in al-Nasr town. Another drone struck the same location and killed Ibrahim Abdeen, 42, and injured another three.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 12:00 P.M. An unmanned drone struck and killed two in Bani Suhayla: Muhammad al-Barim, 25, and Muhammad Samur, 45. Another four were injured.
  • 12:15 P.M. Paramedics recovered the bodies of Sharif Hassan, 27. He was injured in previous shelling but the Israeli forces prevented the ambulances from reaching him which led to his death.
  • 12:20 P.M. An unmanned drone struck and killed two: Muhammad Hamad, 18, and Mamduh al-Shawaf, 25, in Absan al-Kabira.
  • 1:10 P.M. Ahmad Samur, 9, was announced dead due to the shelling that hit Bani Suhayla on 19 July 2014.
    4:00 P.M. One unmanned drone struck a motorcycle, killing two brothers; Muhammad al-Naqa, 34, and Kamal, 35, in Absan al-Jadida.
  • 4:15 P.M. An airstrike hit a motorcycle, killing Usama Shahin, 27, and Hamada Abu Yunis, 25, in Bani Suhayla.
  • 7:00 P.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Qarara.
  • 7:15 P.M. One missile struck and killed Yasin al-Astal, 38, and injuring four children. They were located in an agricultural land near al-Satr al-Gharbi.
  • 9:00 P.M. One unmanned drone struck a motorcycle and killed Yusra al-Barim, 65, and injured another four, all of whom were passing by.
  • 10:00 P.M. Israeli forces shot Muhammad Qadih, 58, in Khuza'a. Israeli forces prohibited the ambulances from reaching Muhammad. He bled to death in front of his family. His family managed to escape while his body remained in the area.
  • 11:20 P.M. Israeli forces opened fire at a Red Crescent ambulance in al-Qarara, injuring one paramedic. It should be noted that the Red Cross had coordinated for the ambulance to go to that area.

Central Governorate

  • 12:00 P.M. One unmanned drone struck and destroyed a house in al-Nusseirat refugee camp.
  • 2:30 P.M. Several artillery shells struck, hitting a house which led to the death of six residents, including three children: Abdel Karim al-Darazin, 5, Muhammad, 3, Nur Abu Dabagh, 12, and another 32-year-old man. Eight more people were injured.

Gaza Governorate

  • 3:30 A.M. Four artillery shells struck and damaged a house in al-Shate' refugee camp.
  • 9:00 A.M. Three bodies arrived to al-Shifa Hospital after they had been killed in a house in al-Zaytun neighbourhood on 19 July 2014. The paramedics were unable to reach and recover the bodies. The bodies belong to: Muhammad Ayyad, 24, Tareq Tafesh, 36, and Omar Nassar, 23.
  • 9:30 A.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house. At the same time, another house was struck with an unmanned drone and a missile.
  • 2:00 P.M. One unmanned drone struck the tenth floor of a building in the city centre.
  • 3:30 P.M. Abdel Aziz Nur, 21, and Tha'er Shamali were killed in al-Shuja'iyya neighbourhood which was subject to artillery shells and fire.
  • 4:00 P.M. One missile struck and damaged a house in al-Nasr neighbourhood.
  • 4:05 P.M. One house was struck and damaged.
  • 7:30 P.M. Dozens of artillery shells struck the premises of al-Durra Hospital in al-Tuffah neighbourhood, killing Ibrahim Omar, 2.5, who was receiving medical treatment in the ICU, and injuring 30 others. Damage was caused to the building as well.
  • 8:00 P.M. One missile struck a house near the Latin Church, killing Ibrahim Abu Laban, 27.
  • 10:00 P.M. One house was struck and destroyed in al-Nasr Street.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 12:50 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in Jabaliyya refugee camp, killing five family members: Adham Abu Eita, 4, Jamila, 55, Ibrahim, 67, Ahmad, 31, and Muhammad, 34. Additionally, 12 people were injured, including five children. Three ambulances present in the area were also damaged.
  • 4:00 A.M. One unmanned drone struck and destroyed a mosque in Jabaliyya, killing Hadi Abdel Nabi, 4, and Abdel Rahman Abdel Nabi, 1, as they were on the street. Another 15 members of the Abdel Nabi family were injured, many are children.
  • 6:45 A.M. Several artillery shells struck the garden of Beit Hanun Governmental Hospital, causing damage to the buildings. This is the fourth time that the garden is hit.
    18 residential houses were directly targeted, six of which were destroyed.
  • 1:25 P.M. One unmanned drone struck and killed Khadr al-Loh, 52, while on his way to check on his house which he had to evacuate a week ago.
  • 1:30 P.M. An airstrike hit a group of children in Beit Hanun, killing Muhammad Matar, 12, his sister Amna Matar, 10, and Dua' Abu Oda, 17.
  • 1:30 P.M. One unmanned drone struck and killed Tamam Hamad, 66 while on the roof of her house in Beit Hanun.
  • 2:55 P.M. Five artillery shells struck the UNRWA's Beit Hanun Elementary Co-Ed A and D School compound, which has been used as a shelter for tens of families who evacuated their homes. Eleven people, who were taking shelter inside the school were killed, including seven children: Awad Abo Ode, 39, Bilal al-Shimbari, 21, Abded Rabo al-Shinbari, 17, Suha Misleh, 2, Muhammad al-Kafarna, 15, Fatma al-Shinbari, 40, Mariam al-Shinbari, 11, and her brother Ali, 9. Another man was later killed Abdallah al-Athamna, 59. In addition, 110 people who were taking refuge inside the school were injured, including 55 children.
  • 9:30 P.M. One man was announced dead, Mahmud Ghaban, 23, following injuries he sustained on 19 July 2014 in Beit Lahia.

Rafah Governorate

  • 3:45 A.M. Four missiles struck and destroyed several containers located in Tal al-Sultan.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 12:30 A.M. One unmanned drone struck and killed five in Bani Suhayla: Ismail al-Astal, 45, and his two sons Ahmad, 20, and Mahmud, 17, and his nephew Muhammad,19, and relative Muhammad, 42. Another two were injured. When people gathered calling for ambulances, two more missiles were fired.
  • 12:40 A.M. One unmanned drone struck near a car which belongs to the electricity company, injuring three of the staff.
  • 1:50 A.M. One missile struck a house, killing six: Muhammad al-Astal, 33, his brother Tha'er, 32, and his brother Melad, 29, Malak al-Astal, 24, and her two children Nada, 5, and Amin, 4.
  • 3:30 A.M. One missile struck a house, killing five: Adli Abu Daqqa, 45, Sami Abu Daqqa, 45, Anwar Abu Daqqa, 42, Akram Abu Daqqa, 42, his brother Muhammad, 38, and injuring three others.
  • 7:15 A.M. Israeli forces opened fire and fired artillery shells towards a group of people who were trying to escape from Khuza'a, killing Muhammad al-Najjar, 56, in a bullet that settled in his neck. Many were injured.
  • 8:00 A.M. The Red Cross managed to allow for ambulances to evacuate the casualties from Khuza'a. The body of Fadi al-Najjar, 27, was recovered along with approximately 25 others who were wounded. Information from the field report that many of the casualties remain inside Khuza'a.
  • 10:00 A.M. An unmanned drone struck a three-wheeler, killing four: Ismaik Abu Rjela, 56, Bakr Najjar, Nafeth Qdeih, and Nabil Qdeih.
  • 10:00 A.M. Two Red Crescent ambulances carrying 10 paramedics, along with two other Red Cross ambulances carrying two people, and based on previous coordination, were on their way to evacuate casualties from Khuza'a. They were held for two hours by the Israeli forces and were then allowed to pass, after searching them. The paramedics were able to recover five dead bodies: Rasmi Abu Rida, 55, Ahmad Qdeh, 19, Rami Qdeh, 18, and Badr Emesh, 9, and Anas Qdeh, 7, and four injured. On their way back, they were held for some time, the cars were searched and four accompanying the injured were arrested.
  • 10:30 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Fukhari. Casualties were reported but the ambulances haven't been able to reach there.
  • 11:00 A.M. An unmanned drone struck and killed Hanafi Abu Yusef, 42, in Absan al-Kabira. Muhammad Sha'th, 29, was announced dead following the shelling of al-Manara neighbourhood a few days ago.

  • 10:20 A.M. One artillery shell struck a donkey-drawn-cart which was carrying people escaping from Um al-Nasr village. The shelling killed Rabi' Abu Ras, 9, and injured three other family members.
  • 12:30 P.M. Paramedics recovered the body of a Palestinian fighter who was killed earlier that morning.
  • 1:05 P.M. Paramedics recovered the bodies of two fighters in Beit Lahia and who were killed earlier that morning.

Tuesday 22 July

Rafah Governorate

  • 2:40 A.M. An airstrike hit a motorcycle and severely injured a militant.
  • 4:00 A.M. An unmanned drone hit a mosque in al-Shaboura refugee camp, followed by another missile that destroyed it. Several neighbouring houses were damaged as a result. One of the nearby residents was phone called to evacuate the house. It is worth mentioning that the mosque is located in a crowded residential area.
  • 4:45 A.M. Mu'in Seyam, 5, was announced dead due to injuries he sustained on 21 July 2014 following the shelling of al-Seyamat neighbourhood. Ten of his family members were killed while another nine were injured.
  • 5:00 A.M. One unmanned drone followed by another missile struck and destroyed a house in Khirbet al-'Adas.
  • 5:05 A.M. One unmanned drone followed by another missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Nasr.
  • 5:30 A.M. An unmanned drone followed by another missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Nasr.
  • 6:30 A.M. An unmanned drone followed by another missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Nasr.
  • 11:30 A.M. Two artillery shells struck a group of citizens who were trying to go back to their houses in al-Shawka which they had evacuated several days ago. Khadra Abu Telakh, 53, was killed and three others were injured, including her son.
  • 12:00 P.M. Several artillery shells were fired at residents of al-Shawka who were attempting to reach their homes, injuring two sisters; Hakima Abu Udwan, 66, and Najah, 47. Ambulances could not reach them, as Israeli forces refused to coordinate for the ambulances to enter the neighbourhood. Two brothers, who live nearby, tried to reach the two wounded sisters but were hit with two airstrikes and injured them. All four of them were left to bleed to death. Six hours later, the Israeli forces allowed the ambulances to recover the bodies. The two brothers are: Attia Abu Sneima, 16, and Khalil, 21.
  • 2:45 P.M. Two unmanned drones followed by a missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Salam neighbourhood.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 12:00 A.M. Without prior warning, a missile struck and destroyed a house in 'Absan al-Kabira, killing Mahmoud Abu Sabha, 59, injuring his brother and five of his children, including one child.
  • 1:45 A.M. Without prior warning, three missiles struck and destroyed a house, killing Mus'ab Salama, 18, and injuring eight others from the same family. Four other people were injured. The paramedics managed to recover the casualties from the rubble.
  • 6:30 A.M. Artillery shells were fired at houses and agricultural lands in al-Qarara and Bani Suhayla, killing Naji al-Fajm, 26.
  • 7:20 A.M. One unmanned drone struck and destroyed a house in 'Absan al-Kabira.
  • 7:30 A.M. Paramedics managed to recover one body and six injured in Bani Suhayla.
  • 7:35 A.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house in Khuza'a.
  • 11:45 A.M. One unmanned drone struck and damaged a house in 'Absan al-Kabira.
  • 2:45 P.M. Without prior warning, one missile struck and destroyed a house in 'Absan al-Kabira, killing Ahmad Abu Salah, 25, while in his house.
  • 6:45 P.M. While artillery shells were being fired, one missile hit a group of people near a mosque in 'Absan al-Jadida, killing Muhammad al-Jarf, 24, and Hamza Abu 'Anza, 21.
  • 9:30 P.M. An unmanned drone struck and killed Hani Samur, 75, Marwan Samur, 38, and injured two others.
  • 10:30 P.M. One unmanned drone struck and killed Ahmad Shber, 24, and Wisam al-Najjar, 17, and injured another in Khan Younis refugee camp.
  • 11:00 P.M. Without prior warning, an airstrike hit and destroyed a house in Bani Suhayla, killing Muhammad Abu Reda, 22, and his wife Shama, 20. Their kids were injured and recovered by paramedics from underneath the rubble.
  • Late at night, artillery shells along with aerial missiles struck the town of Khuza'a for several hours, targeting residential areas. At approximately 1:00 A.M. and while the shelling continued, Israeli forces invaded three kilometres into the eastern parts of the town and surrounding it. Around 4,500 residents have not been able to leave the town and are trapped inside. Al-Haq field researcher phone called some residents inside the town who stated that the shelling is targeting residential houses, killing and injuring many people. The following have been confirmed dead so far in the mentioned attack: Muhammad al-Bishiti, 7, Salem Abu Te'ma, 23, Muhammad Abu Te'ma, 25, while tens others are reported to have been killed and injured. Paramedic teams haven't been able to reach them while the shelling continues. The amount of damage, deaths and injuries are still unclear.

Central Governorate

  • 1:00 A.M. One unmanned drone, followed by a missile struck and destroyed a house in Deir al-Balah. Three residents were injured.
  • 1:50 A.M. 'Abdallah al-Bihesi, 26, was killed after a missile struck the roof of his house, where he was standing.
  • 3:45 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a mosque in Deir al-Balah.
  • 4:00 A.M. Without prior warning, two unmanned drones struck a house in Wadi al-Salqa, killing three family members: Yousef al-Remahi, 21, his sister Eman, 14, and his sister Ibtihal, 4.
  • 4:30 A.M. Muhammad Haroun, 28, was killed in an airstrike in al-Nusseirat refugee camp.

  • 8:10 A.M. Artillery shells struck Beit Hanoun Governmental Hospital, causing fire at the main entrance of the administrative building. Another shell fell in front of the ER section.
  • 9:00 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in Jabaliyya refugee camp, killing Laila al-Wahidi and injuring eight others.
    Twenty houses were struck by air missiles, destroying seven while the rest were damaged. Dozens of artillery shells struck tens of houses in Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia and Um al-Nasr village.
  • 11:55 A.M. Shells were fired at Beit Hanun, killing Suha Ikhriwat, 23, who was pregnant, and her daughter Muna, 1.5. Her son Fadi, 5, was also injured.

Rafah Governorate

  • 6:30 A.M. Nine family members were killed and another nine were injured, including children, following five airstrikes that hit al-Siyamat neighbourhood; Shirin Seyam, 31, and her children; Dala, one year old, Badr, four years old, Ghayda, seven years old, Mustafa, nine years old, and her brother in law Ahmad Seyam, 31, and his son Ayman, 15.
  • 7:00 A.M. One missile struck and killed a militant Yousef al-Zamli, 24 years old, in al-Shawka.
  • 8:00 A.M. Several artillery shells struck residential houses in al-Salam neighbourhood, damaging two.
  • 11:00 A.M. One militant was announced dead, Rizq Abu 'Udwan, 34, due to injuries he sustained in an airstrike on the same day.
  • 11:30 A.M. Amin Seyam, 17, was announced dead due to injuries sustained earlier that morning in an airstrike, which killed nine of his family members and injured 10 more.
  • 2:20 P.M. Artillery shells struck residential houses in al-Salam neighbourhood, injuring three residents, including one child, Eyad Sabbah, 17, who was later announced dead.
  • 2:30 P.M. Several artillery shells struck al-Shuhada graveyard in al-Jenena neighbourhood, injuring three civilians and damaging several graves.
  • 6:30 P.M. Several artillery shells struck the houses in al-Tannur neighbourhood, killing Fatma al-'Arja, 14, and injuring 10 others.
  • 7:00 P.M. Three militant bodies were recovered from al-Shawka, following armed clashes with the Israeli military. The three are: Mahmoud al-Hamayda, 24, Muhammad al-Bakri, 23, and Muhammad al-Hamayda, 23.
  • 8:10 P.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in al-Nasr.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 2:00 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house and a shop in Khan Younis refugee camp.
  • 3:50 A.M. Two missiles were fired in the direction of al-Qassas Street, cutting the road between al-Sheikh Nasser area and the town of Bani Suhayla. A few minutes later, two more missiles were struck in the direction of Salah al-Din Street, cutting the road between Ma'an area and al-Sheikh Nasser.
  • 5:55 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Khan Younis.
  • 6:55 A.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Satr al-Gharbi, injuring Alaa' al-Haj, 27.
  • 12:30 P.M. Five airstrikes along with artillery shells struck al-Zanna area in Bani Suhayla. Two houses and agricultural fields were hit. Ten militants were killed while eight others were injured: Abdel Rahman al-Qarara, Ibrahim al-Qarra, 24, Karam Barham, 25, Nidal Abu Daqqa, 26, Nidal Abu 'Asi, 43, Muhammad al-Mughrabi, 23, Muhammad al-Qarra, 23, Muhammad al-Masri, 22, Jihad al-Mughrabi, 22, Ahmad al-Mughrabi, 40.
  • 1:30 P.M. One unmanned drone struck a house in Khan Younis refugee camp. The family was phone called to evacuate minutes before the strike.
  • 1:45 P.M. One unmanned drone struck a house in al-Qarara, killing Muhammad Abu Hadaf, 23. A few minutes later, another strike hit the police station and destroyed it. At the same time, artillery shells were being fired from Israeli tanks.
  • 1:55 P.M. An unmanned drone struck the garden of Naser Medical Complex.
  • 2:00 P.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in Khan Younis, injuring one of its residents.
  • 2:15 P.M. Muhammad Abu Lihya, 27, was announced dead due to injuries sustained on 19 July 2014 by Israeli fire.
  • 2:30 P.M. An unmanned drone struck a house in al-Satr al-Gharbi, injuring seven people, including six children.
  • 3:00 P.M. Two unmanned drones struck a group of militants, killing Mujahed al-'Aqqad, 20, and Muhammad al-Zini, 25.
  • 5:00 P.M. An airstrike hit a house in 'Absan al-Kabira, injuring Zakariyya Abu Daqqa, 64. Zakariyya was checking on his house after days of the evacuation. He was injured and left to bleed to death until paramedics were able to recover his body at 7:30 P.M.
  • 5:30 P.M. Three missiles and artillery shells struck houses and agricultural lands, killing three militants; Muhammad Abdel Ghafour, 22, Haitham al-Agha, 25, and Waleed Abu Thaher, 21.
  • 6:00 P.M. Two missiles struck a group of six civilians in al-Qarara, killing Sameh al-Sawafiri, 29, and Muhammad Fayyad, 36. The six were injured and were bleeding while the ambulance could not reach them due to heavy shelling of the area. Sameh and Muhammad bled to death and their bodies were recovered the next morning.
  • 7:30 P.M. An airstrike hit a motorcycle north east of Khan Younis, killing Fadi al-'Abadla, 22, who is a Palestinian militant.
  • 7:45 P.M. Israeli tanks shelled a mosque in Bani Suhayla, injuring five people.

In the evening, one missile struck and destroyed a house in 'Absan al-Kabira. Another house in the same was hit with an airstrike later.

  • 10:00 P.M. Abdel Rahman Abdel 'Al, 23, was announced dead due to injuries sustained in airstrike that hit his house around a week ago.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 1:30 A.M. Munwa al-Ba', 30, was announced dead due to injuries she sustained on Saturday 19 July, after Israeli soldiers had shot her while on her way home in Beit Hanoun.
  • 6:00 A.M. One missile struck a house in Beit Hanoun, killing Kamal al-Masri, 23, while in his bedroom.

13 residential houses were struck, six of which were destroyed, in several areas of North Gaza.

  • 1:20 P.M. A building was struck, killing Wajdi al-Yazji, 54, his wife Safinaz, 50, and their grandchildren, Yasmeen, 4, and Hatem, 3. Four more residents of the house were injured.
  • 5:00 P.M. The body of 'Arab Ma'rouf, 72, was recovered. He was injured in the morning but paramedics could not reach him as there were Israeli forces in the premises.
  • 5:10 P.M. One airstrike hit and killed 'Attiya Darduna, 26, who was walking on al-Qarm Street in Jabaliyya al-Balad.
  • 6:45 P.M. An UNRWA shelter was shelled, injuring one person.
  • 9:00 P.M. A militant was announced dead, Muhammad Ishtiwi, 27, due to injuries sustained on 19 July 2014.

  • 2:30 A.M. One missile struck a house in al-Jenena neighbourhood, killing three brothers: Anas Mu'ammar, 17, Hamza, 23, and Muhammad, 31.
  • 3:00 A.M. Three missiles struck a group of militants, west of Rafah city, killing Ra'ed al-Bardawil, 26, and injuring two others. In the meantime, another missile hit and destroyed a restaurant, west of Rafah.
  • 3:00 A.M. Two missiles struck and partially destroyed a house in Yibna.
  • 5:15 A.M. Two missiles struck and killed three militants in al-Sa'oudi neighbourhood: Suhayb Abu Qora, 21, Hamid Abu Fojo, 22, and Ahmad Zanoun, 26. Two others were wounded.

  • 12:00 P.M.Without prior warning, one missile struck and destroyed a house in Qezan al-Najjar, killing its owner Salah al-Sha'er, 55, his daughter-in-law Layla, 30, her child Muhammad, five years old, and Hiba, 15. Nine other residents of the house were injured.
  • 1:00 P.M. Two unmanned drones struck a group of people in 'Absan al-Jadida and Bani Suhayla, killing 14-year-old Suleiman Abu Jame' and Muhammad al-Daghma, 25, and injuring three others.
  • 2:00 P.M. Three unmanned drones struck a house in Bani Suhayla, followed by another missile which destroyed the house, wherein six familes live.
  • 3:30 P.M. Two Palestinian militants were killed in shelling that targeted al-Zanna and Bani Suhayla; Bassem al-Barim, 24, and Ahmad Abu Tayyem, 27.
  • 7:50 P.M. 26 people, including 19 children were killed in Bani Suhayla following an airstrike that hit a three-storey residence. Three people from the Abu Jame' family survived the attack, while 24 family members were killed: Fatma, 60, Sabah, 35, Tawfiq, 4, Maysa, 7, Ahmad, 8, Haifa, 9, Aya, 12, Jawdat, 13, Razan, 14, Shahinaz, 29, Ayyoub, 10, Fatma, 12, Rayyan, 5, Renat, two years old, Nujud, four months, Yasmeen and who was pregnant, 25, Batoul, 4, Suhayla, 3, Besan, six months old, Yasser, 27, Fatma who was pregnant, 26, Sajed, 7, Seraj, 4, Nour, 2, Husam, 7. Ahmad Abu Sahmud, 34, a Palestinian militant was killed. Raja' al-Daghma was announced dead due to injuries sustained following an airstrike on 18 July.

  • 1:00 A.M. A house was shelled in al-Shuja'iyya neighbourhood, killing Tawfiq Marzouq, 53 years old.
  • 1:00 A.M. Muhammad Muhareb, 38 years old, was killed following the shelling of his house in al-Shuja'iyya.
  • 1:15 A.M. 'Ahed al-Sarsak, 30 years old, was killed after the shelling of his house.
  • 1:20 A.M. An artillery shell struck and destroyed a residence in al-Shuja'iyya neighbourhood, killing two residents: Maysa al-Sarsawi, 35 years old, and Marwa al-Sarsaw, 12.
  • 1:20 A.M. Several artillery shells killed four civilians, including a child, in al-Mansoura Street: Ahmad Ayyad, 27, Usama Ayyad, 14, and Muna Ayyad, 35.
  • 2:30 A.M. A house was struck killing Adel Salim, 35 years old, and his three-year-old daughter Dima.
  • 2:35 A.M. A house was shelled and destroyed in al-Nazzaz Street, killing Khalil al-Hayya, 30, his wife Hala, 26, and three children: Usama, five, Hamza, four, and Umama, eight years old.
  • 2:35 A.M. Artillery shells struck a group of people who were trying to escape from al-Sha'af neighbourhood, killing Ahmad al-Ramlawi, 33, Ibrahi al-Ghilani, 30, Islim Abulkheir, and Ahmad Khalil.
  • 4:15 A.M. A missile struck and killed Yousef Mustafa, 61, while on his way back from morning prayers at the mosque.
  • 9:25 A.M. An airstrike hit a house west of Gaza city, killing Eman Hamada, 40, and her daughter Dina, 16.
  • 10:00 A.M. An airstrike hit a press car, killing Khaled Hamad, 25, a photographer working in the Continue Agency. An ambulance was also struck, killing a paramedic, Fu'ad Jaber, 27. Both the journalist and the paramedic were trying to get into al-Shuja'iyya neighbourhood to cover the news and evacuate the injured and killed.
  • 3:00 P.M. During the two hour humanitarian ceasefire in al-Shuja'iyya, one missile struck a house in the neighbourhood, killing seven from the Iskafi family: 'Isam, 25, Muhammad, 49, 'Ali, 29, 'AbdelRahman, 12, Mus'ab, 28, and Akram, 30.

Some bodies, from the attack on al-Shuja'iyya the day before, arrived to al-Shifa Hospital, including Marah al-Jamal, 10, Ahmad al-Jamal, 9, Yousef Wedad, 46, 'Ali Jundiya, 26.

Four family members were killed in al-Mansoura Street in al-Shuja'iyya, following the shelling of their house: 'Ayda Khalil, 45, 'Abdel Rahman Khalil, 50, Muna Khalil, 45, Heba Khalil, 14, and Yousef Habib, 60, who was trying to escape the area when the house was hit.

Artillery shells were being fired at the same time that residents of al-Shuja'iyya neighbourhood were attempting to flee, killing 10 family members, including three children: Shirin Ayyad, 18, Muhammad, 3, Ahmad, 27, Usama, 34, Musa, 42, Hala who was pregnant, 25, Ghada, 13, Muhammad, 3, Narmin, 20, and Feda', 24.

In a similar incident on al-Mansoura Street, Muhammad al-Mbayyed, 23, Salim Abulkheir, 50, Shadi Eslim, 16, his brother Fadi, 10, 'Alaa' Barda', 35, Marwan Khalaf, 23, and Abdallah Omara, 23, were all killed

  • 12:30 P.M. An artillery shell killed two civilians in al-Sheikh Radwan: Khalil Misbeh, 50, and Muhammad 'Ekeleh, 23.
  • 7:20 P.M. Two unmanned drones were fired, one of which hit an apartment, killing 11 members from al-Hallaq and Ammar families: Hani al-Hallaq, 49, his son Muhammad, 2, Samar al-Hallaq who was pregnant, 29, her children, Saji, 4, Kenan, 6, Hasan, Hala, both 27, Su'ad, 62, 'Asem Ammar, 4, his siblings, Eman, 9, and Ibrahim, 13, and Rahaf Abu Jum'a, 4.
  • 10:00 P.M. Fatma Abu Munah, 55, was killed in an airstrike that hit near her house.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 11:20 A.M. An unmanned drone struck and killed a militant, Wesam Hamouda, 29, in Jabaliyya al-Balad.
  • 12:35 P.M. An airstrike hit a militant while on his motorcycle in Beit Lahia, injuring him along with five other people who were passing by, including four children. Later that night, Dina 'Aziz, five years old, was announced dead due the injuries she sustained in the mentioned attack.
  • 2:15 P.M. Turkiyya al-Bis, 77, was found dead following an airstrike that were fired indiscriminately in Um al-Nasr village.
  • 3:20 P.M. One unmanned drone struck a group of militants near a mosque, west of Jabaliyya, killing Ashraf al-Silawi, 36.
  • 4:20 P.M. Paramedics found the bodies of Mustafa Alwan, 22, and Abdel Rahman al-Faqih, 27, following an a strike that hit their homes two days ago.
  • 5:00 P.M. An unmanned drone hit a house and killed Abedrabbo Zayed, 58, and his wife Aysha, 54.
  • 6:00 P.M. One unmanned drone struck a house in Beit Lahia, killing Aya Abu Sultan, 17, and injuring four others of her family members, children included.

 

Saturday 19 July

Rafah Governorate

  • Morning hours: Large numbers of Israeli tanks, bulldozers and forces invaded the Gaza International Airport in al-Shawka, heavily firing artillery shells. Information from the field states that houses were raided and people were arrested from al-Shawka.
  • 3:00 P.M. Artillery shells struck al-Tannur neighbourhood, killing 16-year-old Mahmoud Abu Shabab and injuring 11 other children.
  • 3:15 P.M. A militant's house was struck and destroyed in Misbeh neighbourhood, killing him, his daughter and brother: Omar al-Eid, 27 years old, Sarah, four years old, and Jihad, 36 years old. 
  • 4:00 P.M. One unmanned drone struck a militant's house in al-Mawasi, followed by another missile and partially destroyed the house. 
  • 6:35 P.M. Israeli tanks situated at the buffer zone shelled two residential apartments, south of Rafah city, injuring two people.
  • 11:00 P.M. One unmanned drone followed by shelling hit a house in al-Zuhur neighbourhood, injuring one person.

 

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 1:00 A.M. One missile struck and killed a militant, Eyad al-Raqab, 26 years old, and injuring two.
  • 1:15 A.M. Two missiles struck the al-Sayadin Port, injuring one civilian.
  • 1:30 A.M. Two missiles struck and killed nine civilians, including three children in Khan Younis refugee camp: Yehia al-Sir, 20, and his brother Muhammad, 17, Muhammad Salhiya, 32, and his nephews: Muhammad Salhiya, 22, his brother Mustafa, 20, his brother Wasim, 15, and Ibrahim Nasr, 13, Muhammad Nasr, 25, Rushdi Nasr, 25.
  • 3:35 A.M. Two missiles struck and killed Ra'ed Laqqan, 32 years old, and injuring another, in al-Amal neighbourhood. The house was destroyed.
  • 6:50 A.M. Muhammad al-Qara, 29 years old, was announced dead following an injury he sustained in 'Absan al-Kbaira.
  • 8:30 A.M. One unmanned drone struck and killed Muhammad Sammour, 21 years old, and injured another.
  • 1:00 A.M. Five people were injured as a result of the shelling that took place in al-Qarara. 
  • 2:00 P.M. One unmanned drone struck a car, killing 19-year-old Muhammad al-Sa'idi. Muhammad was on his way to evacuate his relatives following the Israeli invasion.
  • 2:15 P.M. An unmanned drone struck and destroyed a house, killing Muhammad al-Ghalban, 24, and injuring another. 
  • 8:00 P.M. Five people were injured in Bani Suhayla following heavy shelling of the area. 
  • 8:45 P.M. One missile struck a house, killing Salem Abu Sa'ada and injuring two of his sons and one relative.
  • 9:50 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Ma'an, injuring two children.

Central Governorate

  • 9:00 A.M. Israeli forces raided the eastern side of al-Meghazi refugee camp while indiscriminately shelling it. Around 4,000 people evacuated the area.
  • 10:00 A.M. Following heavy shelling, an unmanned drone struck a group of militants in an agricultural land in Wadi al-Salq, killing four: Mo'men Abu Dan, 24, Abdel Rahman al-Barak, 23, Tareq al-Hatu, 26, and Aballah Abu Zueiter, 31.
  • 12:00 P.M. Two missiles struck the town of al-Zawayda, hitting a house and a car, killing Ma'ali Abu Zayed, 23, and injuring two others. 
  • 12:40 P.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Meghazi refugee camp. 
  • 1:00 P.M. Several artillery shells fired at the eastern side of al-Meghazi refugee camp. A house was hit and destroyed.

  • 2:30 A.M. One artillery shell struck a house and killed Ahmad Aziz, 34.
  • 2:45 A.M. One aerial missile struck and destroyed a house in Beit Hanoun. 
  • 4:00 A.M. A missile struck and destroyed a house in Jabaliyya. 
  • 7:00 A.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house in Jabaliyya al-Balad. 
  • 10:00 A.M A farm was hit in Beit Lahia, killing Muhammad Zeyad al-Rahl, five years old, and Muhammad Ahmad al-Rahl, 17 years old, while inside their homes. As a result, 18 people were injured, including seven children. 
  • 10:30 A.M. Fadl al-Banna, 24 years old, was announced dead following an injury he sustained on 10 July 2014 by an airstrike. 
  • 10:55 A.M. Israeli tanks opened fire and artillery shells at residential house in Beit Hanoun, killing Muhammad Sa'dat, 22, and injuring three others, including one child. 
  • 11:15 A.M. Several shells struck Beit Lahia, killing Rizq Hammouda, 18, and injuring 11 people including seven children. Omar Hammouda, 10 years old, was later announced dead. 
  • 11:15 A.M. Artillery shells struck houses in Beit Lahia, killing 25-year-old Muhammad Abu Hamad. 
  • 11:50 A.M. Artillery shells hit houses in east of Beit Hanoun, killing four family members: Mahmoud al-Zweidi, 27, and his two daughters, Nagham, 12, and Ro'ya, 6, and his wife Dalia, 27. 22-year-old Muhammad al-Zweidi was also killed. His brother, Abdel Hamid, 10 years old, was injured. 
  • 12:30 P.M. A missile struck the second floor of the Beit Hanoun Governmental Hospital, the children's section, causing partial damages. No injuries were reported. 
  • 6:30 P.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in Jabaliyya al-Balad, killing Akram al-Mutawaq, 39, while at home. Four more people were injured. 
  • 8:25 P.M. An airstrike struck and destroyed a house in Jabaliyya al-Balad. 
  • 8:30 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house in Beit Lahia. This is the second time that the house is struck. 
  • 8:45 P.M. An airstrike hit and destroyed a house in Beit Lahia. 
  • 8:50 P.M. One airstrike hit and destroyed a house in Beit Lahia. This is the second time that the house is struck.
  • 9:00 P.M. One aerial missile struck and destroyed a house in Beit Lahia. 
  • 11:45 P.M. A missile struck and destroyed a house in Jabaliyya.

Gaza Governorate

  • 12:00 P.M. One shell struck a residential apartment in al-Mukhbarat Towers, killing 32-year-old Ahmad Abu Za'nouna, and injuring his son and wife.
  • 4:00 P.M. A house was struck with a missile, killing Muhammad al-Za'bout, 24, and his brother Hatem, 22.
  • Between Saturday evening and Sunday 20 July 3:00 P.M., at least 50 civilians were killed in al-Shujai'yya, al-Tuffah and al-Sha'af neighbourhoods. Approximately 35,000 people were displaced from their homes seeking refuge elsewhere due to indiscriminate Israeli shelling of these neighbourhoods. Since Saturday evening, ambulances have been prohibited from entering these areas to evacuate the injured and dead. Tens of people who managed to escape the neighbourhoods, witnessed tens of people killed and injured scattered on the streets and inside their houses.

Gaza Governorate

  • 1:00 A.M. Two missiles struck a house in al-Meghazi Street.
  • 3:30 A.M. Three missiles struck a residential building in al-Remal neighbourhood. This is the second time for the building to be hit within three days.
  • 4:00 A.M. A house was shelled in al-Shuja'iyya neighbourhood, killing 47-year-old Rami and injuring three family members, including one child.
  • 7:00 A.M. An airstrike hit an office in al-Jawhara building, where several media and press offices are located, injuring one journalist.
  • 8:15 P.M. Artillery shells struck a house in al-Tuffah neighbourhood, killing Rizq al-Hayek, one year and a half, and injuring his brother Malek, Malak, 14 years old.
  • 8:30 P.M. Two artillery shells struck a house in al-Tuffah neighbourhood, killing Qassem 'Alwan, four years old, and his brother 'Emad, seven years old, and injuring their brother Abdallah, 14 years old.

  • 3:40 A.M. An unmanned drone struck a house in Rafah city, injuring 41-year-old Hanan Dwei'er.
  • 4:05 A.M. Without prior warning, one missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Nasr, killing 11-year-old Siham Zu'rob. Eleven family members were injured, including three children.
  • 6:10 A.M. Palestinian paramedics found a militant's body in Khirbet al-'Adas: Bassem Madi, 22 years old.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 2:30 A.M. Israeli forces moved in hundreds of metres into Abu 'Asi and al-Qarara areas, reaching AbdelGhaffour neighbourhood, east of Khan Younis. The forces took over the roofs of some houses while heavy clashes were happening with Palestinian militants.
  • 3:00 A.M. Several missiles struck Abu Radwan neighbourhood, injuring four family members whom the paramedics could not reach. The four were left to bleed to death: Ahmad Fawzi Radwan, 23 years old, and his brother Mahmoud, 24 years old, Bilal Mahmoud Radwan, 23 years old, and Munther Nabil Radwan, 22 years old.
  • 3:30 A.M. For four hours, at least 15 artillery shells struck al-Qarara and Bani Suhayla. Five were killed as result: Hamad Abu Lihya, 23 years old, Muhammad Fayyad, 26 years old, Mahmoud Fayyad, 25 years old, Hani al-Shami, 35 years old, and Muhammad al-Shami, 35 years old. 29 others were injured as a result of the shelling. Field information provides that two houses were struck and destroyed by missiles.

Central Governorate

  • 2:00 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Meghazi refugee camp.
  • 3:30 P.M. One missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Jadid refugee camp, killing a militant, Mahmoud Darwish, 40 years old, and injuring three others.
  • 8:00 P.M. Artillery shells struck residential houses in Hijr al-Deek, killing Sai'd Abu Issa, 32 years old. Sai'd was left to bleed for four hours as the ambulance could not reach him due to the heavy shelling of the area. At approximately 12:00 A.M., the ambulance was able to evacuate Sai'd and two others injured. Most residents of Hijr al-Deek and neighbouring areas evacuated their houses.
  • At night, Yamen al-Hamidi, four years old, was announced dead due to injuries sustained on 13 July 2014.
  • 10:30 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Zawayda village.

Gaza Governorate

  • 12:30 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in west of Gaza city.
  • 12:30 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a house in al-Nafaq Street.
  • 1:30 A.M. A shop was struck and damaged in al-Jala' Street.
  • 3:30 A.M. A warning strike followed by a missile hit and destroyed a three-storey house, wherein six families live in al-Yarmouk Street.
  • 9:30 A.M. A warning strike followed by a missile hit and destroyed a house, wherein five families live in al-Shuja'iyya.
  • 5:50 P.M. One airstrike hit the roof of two houses in al-Sabra neighbourhood, where six children, from the same family, were feeding pigeons. Three children died as a result: Afnan Shehabar, 8 years old, Jihad, 7 years old, and 'Adi, 15 years old.
  • 8:40 P.M. Tens of bombs hit houses east of Gaza city, killing three family members including two children: 'Abed Entiz, 24 years old, Muhamad, 13 years old, Muhammad, two and a half years old.
  • 4:00 P.M. One house was struck and destroyed in al-Shuja'iyya neighbourhood.

  • 12:45 A.M. Two airstrikes hit and destroyed a residence in Jabaliyya.

  • 7:00 P.M. One bomb hit a Hayel Abdel-Hamid School in Beit Hanoun, causing damage to the school's third floor.

  • 9:50 P.M. A house was shelled in Beit Hanoun, injuring seven family members.

Rafah Governorate

  • 4:20 A.M. One missile struck and killed two civilians, 70-year-old Muhammad Hassouna and Muhammad al-Hut, 35 years old, in al-Jnena neighbourhood.
  • 7:00 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Yibna refugee camp.
  • 9:30 A.M. Two missiles struck and killed three militants in al-Nasr: Muhammad Ghanem, 27 years old, Bashir Abd-'Al, 19 years old, and 'Abdallah al-Akhras, 30 years old.
  • 1:00 P.M. Dozens of artillery shells struck Gaza International Airport and residential houses in al-Nahda neighbourhood and al-Shawka. Tens of families evacuated their houses as a result.
  • 6:00 P.M. Israeli aircrafts dropped leaflets over Rafah city, stating that residents of al-Shaboura refugee camp, Tal al-Sultan neighbourhood and al-Dheina town, should evacuate their houses and head to the city centre.
  • 7:00 P.M. One unmanned drone hit a militant's house in al-Barazil neighbourhood. A few minutes later, another missile hit the house and partially destroyed it, injuring four-year-old Mukhles al-Lohi.
  • 7:20 P.M. One unmanned drone hit a house in al-Shaboura refugee camp. Another missile struck and destroyed the house, causing damage to neighbouring houses. The owner of the house was phone called to evacuate the house along with his family.
  • 8:00 P.M. – 12:00 A.M. Dozens of artillery shells struck the Gaza International Airport and residential houses in al-Nahda neighbourhood and al-Shawka area. Many residents called on ambulances and civil defence to evacuate them.
  • 8:30 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Shawka. Many neighbouring houses were also damaged.
  • 9:00 P.M. One unmanned drone followed by a missile struck and destroyed a house in east of Rafah city. Four-year-old Malak Shaho was injured and several neighbouring houses were affected.
  • 10:15 P.M. One unmanned drone followed by another missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Barazil neighbourhood. A nearby house was also destroyed as a result.
  • 11:55 P.M. Four Palestinians were killed due to the heavy shelling that hit the Gaza Airport site, al-Shawka and al-Nasr towns: Majdi Suleiman Jabara, 22 years old, Fares Jum'aa al-Tarabin, three months old, Omar Eid al-Mahmoum, 17 years old, and Salmia Abu Ghayyad, 70 years old. At least twenty others were injured.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 1:00 A.M. Israeli tanks situated at the buffer zone shelled Khaza'a and 'Absan al-Kabira neighbourhoods for several hours. Several houses, a water tank and a football field were damaged. Three people were injured.
  • 5:30 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Manara neighbourhood.
  • 4:55 P.M. Three strikes hit and destroyed a chicken farm in al-Qarara.
  • 6:00 P.M. Thousands of leaflets were dropped from Israeli aircrafts over the eastern areas of Khan Younis, asking those who live near the buffer zone in Khuza'a, 'Absan al-Kabira, 'Absan al-Saghira and Bani Suhayla, to evacuate.
  • 6:10 P.M. An unmanned drone struck and damaged a house in 'Absan al-Kabira. The family had to evacuate the house.
  • 6:15 P.M. One unmanned drone hit a house in al-Qarara, killing Hamza al-'Abadla, 29 years old.
  • 6:20 P.M. An unmanned drone struck two children playing in their house backyard in al-Manara neighbourhood. Rahaf al-Jabbour, four years old, was killed as a result and her brother, Hamada, six years old, was injured.
  • 8:00 P.M. For hours, dozens of artillery shells struck residential areas to the west of the buffer zone. Six civilians were injured. At approximately 10:00 P.M. and as Israeli forces announced a ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, the shelling of the mentioned areas increased.
  • 10:20 P.M. One missile struck and severely damaged a house in al-Qarara.
  • 10:35 P.M. One missile struck the University College of Applied Sciences, killing 24-year-old Saleh al-Shafi'i and injuring another. Both work as guards in the college.
  • Late that night and for several hours, Israeli tanks situated in the buffer zone, fired dozens of artillery shells and smoke bombs at the towns of east of Khan Younis. Meanwhile, and between the east of al-Zanna and east of Bani Suhayla areas, the ground invasion had begun. The shelling caused a bad smell to spread and as a result many people fainted. Furthermore, it was difficult for the ambulances to evacuate those injured due to the indiscriminate and intense shelling then. According to Al-Haq field researcher, based in Khuza'a, heavy white smoke followed the shelling of the town, blocking the vision and spreading a bad smell. Hundreds of people had to evacuate to schools, mosques and relatives' homes in the western areas.

  • 6:00 A.M. One missile struck a house in Der al-Balah, killing Salem Fayyad and injuring two others.
  • 1:00 P.M. An unmanned drone struck and damaged a house in al-Nusseirat refugee camp, injuring four residents, including two children, one of which in critical condition.
  • 7:50 P.M. One unmanned drone followed by a missile struck and destroyed a house in Hajr al-Deek, killing 28-year-old Husam Abu Issa and seriously injuring his brother.
  • 8:00 P.M. For several hours, artillery shelling hit several houses and injured many people in the eastern side of the Central Governorate.
  • 10:00 P.M. An artillery shell struck a house in Wadi al-Salqa, injuring four residents, including two children.

Rafah Governorate

  • 2:20 A.M. An airstrike hit a group of militants in al-Mawasi area, killing two: Muhammad al-Zahuq, 25 years old, and Muhammad Abu Odeh, 28 years old. A third was injured.
  • 2:35 A.M. An airstrike hit and killed Muhammad al-Dabari, 21 years old, while he was near his home.
  • 6:40 A.M. One missile struck an agriculture field in al-Nasr town, killing Ashraf Abu Shanab, 36 years old, who was farming.
  • 7:10 A.M. Four missiles struck and destroyed a militant's house in al-Siyamat neighbourhood.
  • 8:00 A.M. Five missiles struck and destroyed a house in al-Shaboura refugee camp. The family was phone called to evacuate the house.
  • Between 15 – 16 July, many houses were struck in Tal al-Hawa, Hay al-Tuffah, al-Ghafri, al-Sabra, al-Zaytoun, and al-Remal neighbourhoods as well as al-Shate' refugee camp. Following a phone call to evacuate the building, Al-Shifa' Hospital was struck.

  • 8:00 A.M. Two missiles struck and partially destroyed al-Karama Cultural and Arts Centre in Rafah city.
  • Suleiman Salam Abu Luli, 27 years old, was announced dead as a result of injuries sustained following an airstrike a few days ago.
  • 10:50 P.M. Three Palestinians were killed following an airstrike that hit the taxi they were riding, east of Rafah city: Musa Dahliz, 30 years old, Yasser al-Mahmum, 18 years old, and Ahmad al-Nawajha, 23 years old. Another four were injured, including one child.

  • 12:45 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in east of Khan Younis. The family received a phone call to evacuate and were given three minutes to leave.
  • 7:20 A.M. One airstrike hit and killed 58-year-old 'Atta al-'Ammour in al-Fukhari neighbourhood.

  • 4:10 A.M. A four-storey house was struck and severely damaged. Six families, including 12 children, live in that house.
  • 5:45 A.M. The Islamic National Bank was struck, causing severe damages to the building.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 5:00 A.M. Three missiles struck and killed 14-year-old Hussam al-Najjar while attempting to evacuate the house.
  • 9:20 A.M. Three missiles hit and destroyed mosque in al-Ghaboun neighbourhood.
  • 9:20 A.M. A warning missile followed by an airstrike struck and destroyed a residence in Jabaliyya.

Rafah Governorate

  • 12:30 A.M. One missile struck a house in Khan Younis western refugee camp, killing three-year-old Mu'ayyad al-'Araj and injuring 19 civilians.
  • 8:15 A.M. Following a phone call to evacuate the house, three missiles struck and destroyed a two-storey house, wherein three families live. Nearby houses were damaged.

  • 1:50 A.M. Rami Sami Abu Shanab, 22 years old, was announced dead due to injury sustained following an airstrike that his house two days ago.
  • 1:55 A.M. Two missiles struck and severely damaged a three-storey house, wherein two families live, in Der al-Balah.
  • 2:50 A.M. One missile struck a mosque in west of Der al-Balah and damaged it.
  • 5:30 A.M. One missile was fired towards al-Madakhat Street, killing Ruwaida Abu Harb, 35 years old and injuring three others, including four-year-old Yamen al-Hamedy.
  • 8:00 A.M. One house was struck and destroyed in al-Meghazi refugee camp, killing 35-year-old Layla al-'Eweidat, and injuring three others, including a child.

Rafah Governorate

  • 12:40 A.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a militant's house in al-Sha'out neighbourhood.
  • 1:20 A.M. Four missiles struck and destroyed a militant's house in al-Jnena neighbourhood. Israeli forces had earlier called the family members to evacuate the house.
  • 5:30 A.M. Without prior warning, three missiles struck and partially destroyed a house in al-Shaboura refugee camp, injuring 12-year-old Muhammad al-Hobi.
  • 5:45 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a stationery shop in Rafah city.
  • 7:30 A.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a militant's house in Rafah city. The neighbours had been previously called by Israeli forces to evacuate the house.
  • 3:30 P.M. Three missiles struck a residence in al-Mawasi, west of Rafah city, injuring 36-year-old Samar al-Nahhal.
  • 5:30 P.M. One missile struck Der Yassin Cultural Organisation, causing severe damages to the building.
  • 6:00 P.M. An airstrike hit a house east of Rafah city causing partial damage to the house.
  • 7:30 P.M. Two missiles were fired at a militant's house in al-Barazil neighbourhood, south of Rafah city. The house was destroyed.
  • 9:55 P.M. Three missiles struck and destroyed a house near Rafah crossing.
  • 10:25 P.M. An airstrike hit militants, killing Muhannad Dheir, 21 years old, and 'Ezz al-Din Bulbul, 27 years old. Two people passing by were also injured.
  • 11:05 P.M. One missile struck a municipality vehicle and seriously injuring the driver: Ziyad al-Shawi, 42 years old.
  • 11:40 P.M. One missile struck Palestinian militant 'Emad Zu'rob, 23 years old, and killed him. A few minutes after the strike, civilians in the vicinity hurried to assist 'Emad when another strike hit, killing Fadi Zu'rob, 23 years old, and Haytham Zu'rob, 20 years old, and injuring three others.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 12:40 A.M. For two hours, Israeli gunboats shelled the coastal area and the fishermen port causing damage to seven fishing boats. No injuries were reported.
  • 1:30 A.M. Four missiles struck and destroyed a two-storey house, wherein four families reside, in al-Qarara. Several neighbouring houses were damaged.
  • 2:08 A.M. One missile fired at a house, wherein three families reside, causing partial damage to the house. The residents of the house evacuated fearing the house would be struck again.

  • 1:30 A.M. One missile hit a group of young people in al-Nasr Street, killing 19-year-old Anas Qandil.
  • 1:30 A.M. Two houses were struck and destroyed owned by two brothers, killing 84-year-old Hijaziyya al-Hilo.
  • 5:25 A.M. An airstrike struck and killed three militants west of Gaza city; Nabil Basal, 30 years old, Muhammad al-Suti, 20 years old, and Basem al-Halabi, 20 years old.
  • 7:05 A.M. One missile struck and killed three police officers who were evacuating al-Tuffah Police Station; Ibrahim Hamada, 22 years old, Hasan Abu Ghosh, 28 years old, and Ahmad al-Bal'awi, 24 years old.
  • 1:40 P.M. An airstrike hit civilians near a residential building and killed six: Nidal al-Malsh, 22 years old, 'Azmi 'Obeid, 51 years old, Suleiman 'Obeid, 56 years old, Mustafa 'Enaya, 58 years old, Ghassan al-Masri, 25 years old, and Rateb al-Seifi, 22 years old. Another man, Ibrahim al-Malsh, 37 years old, was seriously wounded.
  • 4:30 P.M. One missile struck a group of militants and killed Ahmad Dalul, 37 years old, and injured another three.
  • 5:30 P.M. An agricultural land was struck in al-Shuja'iyya, killing Mustafa 'Oref, 62 years old, and his son Muhammad, 35 years old, while working in their nearby lands.
  • 10:15 P.M. A residence was struck and destroyed, injuring approximately 50 people, most of whom belong to the same family and killing 18 members of the same family (al-Batsh), including nine children: Nahed, 41 years old, Majed, 28, Qusay, 12, Muhammad, 17, Samah, 22 years old, and her eight-month-old unborn baby, Yehia, 18, Ibrahim, 18, Manar, 13, Amal, 49, Anas, 12, 'Aziza, 55, Amal, one year and a half, and Abdallah, three years old. Three neighbouring residences were damaged.
  • Safa' Mustafa Malka, six years old, was announced dead at al-Shifa Hospital. She, along with her parents, was killed due to an airstrike which struck their house on 9 July 2014.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 12:40 A.M. Two missiles struck a group of people congregating near Anwar 'Aziz mosque and killed four young people: Abdel Rahim al-Khatib, 38 years old, Yousef Mandil, 39 years old, Husam Razayna, 39 years old, and Muhammad Abu Swelem, 20 years old. Three others were injured.
  • 1:45 A.M. A house was struck and destroyed in Tal al-Za'tar, injuring seven people.

  • 4:35 A.M. One missile struck empty lands near al-Sha'out residential neighbourhood, killing 11-year-old Nur Marwan al-Najdi, and injuring her 15-year-old brother Abdel Rahman and mother Salwa, 49 years old.
  • 5:15 A.M. Three missiles struck a residence in Yibna without prior notice, killing five family members: Abdel Razaq Hasan al-Ghannam, 58 years old, Ghalia al-Ghanam, Mahmoud al-Ghanam, 28 years old, Wesam al-Ghanam, 31 years old and Kifah al-Ghanam, 37 years old. At least eight people were injured.

  • At dawn, 'Adnan Salem al-Ashhab, 41 years old, was announced dead at al-Shifa Hospital due to injuries sustained following an airstrike.

Thursday 10 July

Gaza Governorate

  • 7:10 A.M. Two missiles struck a civilian car in al-Nafaq Street and killed Baha' Jaber Abulel, 38 years old, Salem Hasan Qandil, 31 years old, and 'Amer Sai'd al-Fayyoumi, 39 years old.
  • 4:10 P.M. One missile struck a motorcycle in al-Zaytoun neighbourhood and killed Palestinian militant Sami 'Adnan Shaldan, 27 years old.

North Gaza Governorate

  • 9:15 A.M. One missile struck an agricultural land in a residential area in Beit Hanoun, killing 5-year-old Abdallah Ramadan Ghazal.
  •  12:10 P.M. Two missiles struck a civilian car in al-Saftawi neighbourhood, killing one militant and two civilians: Mahmoud Tali' Wulud, 27 years old,Hazem Ibrahim Ba'lousha, 34 years old, and 'Adi Rafiq al-Sultan, 21 years old.
  • 3:45 P.M. One missile hit a group of militants on a three wheeler in Jabaliyya and killed Muhammad Kamal al-Kahlut, 20 years old. 

 

Rafah Governorate

  • 1:30 A.M. A missile struck a house in Rafah city.
  • 4:55 A.M. Following a warning missile, an air strike hit a house west of Rafah city.
  • 8:35 A.M. Following a warning missile, an air strike hit a house near Abu Yousef al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah city. No injuries were reported.
  • 10:45 A.M. Air strike struck and destroyed a house in Rafah. 
  • 3:40 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house in Yibna, south Rafah.

Khan Younis Governorate

  • 12:25 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a two-storey house in al-Satr al-Gharbi. Many neighbouring houses were also damaged. One resident was injured.
  • 1:20 A.M. One missile struck and destroyed a residence in Khan Younis refugee camp. As a result, the eight residents of the house were killed, including two children. The parents are: Mahmoud Lutfi al-Haj, 57 years old and his wife Basima Abdel-Qader Al-Haj, 48 years old. The six children killed are: Omar, 20 years old, Sa'd, 17 years old, Tareq, 18 years old, Asma', 22 years old, Najla', 29 years old, and 12-year-old Fatma. A neighbouring house was destroyed and several other houses were damaged. In the same strike, approximately 20 people were injured.
  • 1:55 A.M. Following a warning missile, a three-storey residence was struck and destroyed in al-Qarara.
  • 2:20 A.M. Eight air strikes hit several agricultural lands in Khan Younis. One house was severely damaged and one resident was injured.
  • 5:39 A.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed the Law and Order Police station.
  • 9:45 A.M. One missile struck a residence in al-Fukhari area.
  • 10:40 A.M. An air strike struck a house in Bani Suhayla, killing 18-year-old Ismai'l Hasan Abu Jame' and his father Hasan, 75 years old. 13-year-old Subhi Hasan Abu Jame' was injured.

  • 5:40 A.M. Two missiles struck a house and destroyed it in al-Gharbi refugee camp.

  • 10:10 P.M. Two missiles struck and destroyed a house wherein three families reside, injuring 8-year-old Anas Sarsour.

Central Governorate

  • 2:00 A.M. Three missiles struck a military location in Hajr al-Dik. One civilian was killed while at a relative's house sited near the targeted the location.
  • 8:45 A.M. A house was struck and destroyed in al-Breij refugee camp.
  • 12:40 P.M. An air strike hit and destroyed a house in Deir al-Balah.
  • 4:30 P.M. Two missiles were fired which destroyed a house in Deir al-Balah. 
  • 6:00 P.M. One missile struck a house in Deir al-Balah, killing one child, Abdel Rahman Bassam Khattab in his sleep. 
  • 8:00 P.M. An airstrike hit a motorcycle in al-Nakhil Street and killed Abdallah Mustafa Abu Mahrouq, 22 years old, and injuring another.

 

Wednesday 9 July

 Gaza Governorate
  • 11:30 A.M. One missile struck the residence of Mustafa Jamal Malka, killing 28-year-old Hana' Muhammad Malka and her two-year-old son Muhammad. The father, Mustafa, was injured along with their two daughters who are five and six years old.
  • 12:10 P.M. One missile struck a group of people congregating in al-Nazzar Street, killing two brothers: 12-year-olrd Amir Iyad 'Arif and 10-year-old Muhammad.
  • 1:30 P.M. An air strike struck a group of Palestinian militants in al-Sabra neighbourhood and killed 22-year-old Muhammad Khaled Nimra.
  • 1:40 P.M. A missile struck an empty land, east of Gaza city, and killed Hatem Muhammad Abu Salem, 26 years old, who happened to be passing by at the time.
  • 10:35 P.M. An air strike struck and destroyed a press car in al-Rimal neighbourhood, killing Hamed Abdallah Shihab, 33 years old, and injuring three people including a child. 


North Gaza Governorate

  • 11:55 A.M. One missile struck a group of people in front of their residences in Beit Hanoun. Four family members were killed: Sahar Hasan al-Masri, 35 years old, and her 14-year-old son Muhammad Ibrahim al-Masri, and her 16-year-old daughter Aseel, and her nephew Amjad Zaher Hamdan, 24 years old. Two family members were injured, one of which is in critical condition.
  • 6:40 P.M. An air strike struck a residence in Zamur Street and killed Hani Saleh Muhammad, 57 years old, and his 19-year-old son Ibrahim, and his 26-year-old daughter Asma'.
  • 8:15 P.M. One missile struck an agricultural land in Old Gaza Street and killed 3-year-old Yasmin Muhammad al-Muttawaq.
  • 9:20 P.M. An air strike struck an agricultural land near the Palestinian Red Cross, damaging three ambulances and injuring paramedics.


Rafah Governorate 

  • 8:15 P.M. 60-year-old Salmiya Hasan al-'Arja and 11-year-old Mariam 'Attia al-'Arja were killed due to an air strike that struck an agricultural land near their residence in al-Salam neighbourhood.
  • 3:00 P.M. Following a warning missile, an air strike struck and destroyed a residence in Yibna.
  • 4:50 P.M. Following a warning missile, an air strike struck and destroyed a residence in Yibna.

Khan Younis Governorate 

  • 12:35 P.M. Following a warning missile and while the inhabitants of the house were evacuating, an air strike hit a three-storey house in al-Qarara town. The strike killed Amal Yousef Abdel-Ghafur, 33 years old, along with her unborn 6-month-old child, and her one-year-old baby Ranin Jawdat Abdel-Ghafur.
  • 2:40 P.M. Following a warning strike, a residence was struck in al-Shahayda neighbourhood without any injuries reported.
  • 3:20 P.M. An air strike struck and destroyed a chicken farm in al-Qarara town.
  • 7:15 P.M. One missile struck a four-storey house, wherein three families reside. The family had received a phone call warning them to evacuate the house. Four Palestinians were injured and the house was severely damaged.
  • 7:20 P.M. Israeli aircrafts fired three warning missiles at a residence in 'Absan al-Kabira injuring Nidal Muhammad Abu Salah, his 30-year-old wife, and their two and nine-year-old daughters, and 13 and 9-year-old sons. The house was later struck and destroyed by a missile.
  • 8:35 P.M. Israeli gunboats shelled the north-west area of Khan Younis coast causing material losses.
  • 9:15 P.M. A house was struck by two missiles which did not explode in al-Amal neighbourhood.
  • 10:20 P.M. A warning missile was fired then an air strike struck and destroyed a residence in 'Absan al-Kabira. Many neighbouring houses were damaged.
  • 10:25 P.M. Several minutes following a warning missile, an air strike struck and destroyed a residence in al-Balad area.
  • 11:00 P.M. One missile struck Waqt al-Marah coffee shop at the beach opposite of al-Qarara town. Twelve civilians were at the coffee shop watching a World Cup football match. Nine of them were killed, including two children: Ibrahim Khalil Qanan, 24 years old, Muhammad Khalil Qanan, 26 years old, Suleiman Salim al-Astal, 17 years old, Ahmad Salim al-Astal, 18 years old, Musa Muhammad al-Astal, 28 years old, Muhammad Ihsan Farawna, 18 years old, Hamdi Badi' Sawali, 20 years old, Ibrahim Badi' Sawali, 28 years old, Salim Badi' Sawali, 23 years old. The other three were severely injured.
  • 11:15 P.M. A two-storey residence wherein three families reside was struck and destroyed following a warning missile and a phone call to the family to evacuate.

Central Governorate

  • 2:00 P.M. A house was struck and destroyed in Deir al-Balah, following a warning missile that struck the house.
  • 3:00 P.M. A missile struck a two-storey house in al-Maghazi refugee camp and killed a family of four: Muhammad Khalaf al-Nawasra, two years old, Nidal Khalaf al-Nawasra, four years old, Salah 'Awad al-Nawasra, 24 years old, 'Eisha Shubib al-Nawasra, 23 years old, and her unborn child. Two people were injured.
  • 3:50 P.M. A missile struck and destroyed a house in al-Nusseirat refugee camp.
  • 4:55 P.M. An air strike hit and destroyed a house in east Deir al-Balah.
  • 6:50 P.M. A house was struck and destroyed in al-Nusseirat refugee camp. Several neighbouring houses were also damaged.
  • 7:50 P.M. A house was struck and destroyed in al-Nusseirat refugee camp. Several neighbouring houses were also damaged.
  • 8:30 P.M. A militant's house was struck and destroyed by a missile. Several neighbouring houses were also damaged.
  • 11:40 P.M. A house was struck and destroyed in al-Nusseirat refugee camp, killing the father, Ra'ed Abu Shallat, 35 years old, and injuring his wife and five children, two of which are in critical condition.

Tuesday 8 July

Gaza

  • 3:30 A.M. Israeli aircraft fired a missile hitting a two storey home housing six families. Ten minutes later the same house was struck with another two missiles by F16 aircraft. The house was demolished and some nearby houses were also damaged.
  • 5:00 A.M. A missile from an Israeli F16 aircraft demolished a steel workshop in al-Shuja'iyya, east of Gaza.
  • 2:00 P.M. Two missiles were fired at a civilian car in which three Palestinian militants were riding. The three militants' bodies were shredded and burnt.
  • 2:30 P.M. 16-year-old Ahmad Na'el Mahdi was killed following an air strike which hit an empty open field aside residential houses in al-Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood, north of Gaza city. Several children were playing nearby their houses when the missiles struck. Ahmad was killed immediately upon impact while another three were injured.
  • 5:20 P.M. A missile struck and killed two Palestinian civilians, Ahmad Musa Habib, 45, and Muhammad 'Ahed Habib, 20, as they were riding a three wheeler selling ice cream, in al-Shuja'iyya neighbourhood.

North Gaza

  • 3:00 A.M. Three missiles fired at a two-storey house in Beit Lahia where four families consisting of 24 members reside. The missiles hit the backyard of the house, causing partial damage to the house although no injuries were reported.
  • 3:50 A.M. Three missiles were fired at a residential house in Beit Hanoun. The house and a car were severely damaged, though no injuries were reported.
  • 11:50 P.M. Two missiles were fired at a residential house in Beit Hanoun. Six of the family members were killed during the strike, including Hafeth Muhammad Hamad, 37, Suha Hamad, 30, Ibrahim Hamad, 34, Fawziya Hamad, 67, Mahdi Hamad, 41, and Dunia Hamad, 21. Another five were injured, including four children. The house was severely damaged and five nearby houses were also affected.
  • 5:40 P.M. A missile hit and killed 22-year-old Fakhri al-'Ajouri while he was riding his three wheeler selling sweets in Beit Lahia.

Rafah

  • 1:05 A.M. Three air strikes struck a residential house in al-Hashashin neighbourhood where 13 family members reside including six children. The house was destroyed and no injuries were reported.
  • 11:05 – 11:30 A.M. Four missiles struck an empty house in al-Hashashin neighbourhood. The house was destroyed and no injuries were sustained.
  • 12:30 P.M. An air strike struck a house in al-Shaboura, Rafah, which destroyed the house.
  • 7:30 P.M. An air strike struck and demolished a house in Yibna, Rafah.
  • 9:45 P.M. A missile struck and demolished a militant's house in al-Shaboura, Rafah.
  • 11:30 P.M. A missile struck and demolished house in al-Shaboura, Rafah.

 

Khan Younis

  • 1:40 A.M. Two missiles were fired at two apartments in al-Qarara where two families reside. Six family members were injured including one child.
  • 2:00 A.M. Four missiles struck a militant's house where six of his family members live in east Khan Younis. The house was destroyed and no injuries were reported.
  • At noon a missile was fired at a house in al-Manara neighbourhood causing partial damage to the house.
  • 12:55 P.M. A warning missile was fired toward a house in Joret al-Lut. Many people congregated on the roof of the house to protect it from being struck.
  • 1:10 P.M. Two missiles struck two minarets in east Khan Younis.
  • 2:50 P.M. A warning missile was fired toward a three-storey house in Joret al-Lut wherein five families live. Residents of the house evacuated but remained in the premises of the building. More people congregated around the house to protect it from Israeli missiles. Israeli aircrafts struck the north-west part of the building to destroy it. Seven people were killed including five children: Ammar Muhammad Joude, 18, Hussein Yousef Kaware', 13, Muhammad Ibrahim Kaware', 50, Basem Saleh Kaware', 10, and Siraj Eyad Kaware', 8. Approximately 28 people were injured.
  • 4:00 P.M. A warning strike followed by a missile destroyed a residential house in east Khan Younis.
  • 4:45 P.M. Fifteen minutes following a warning strike, a missile was fired at a house in Absan al-Kabira, east Khan Younis, wherein a family of nine reside. The family was able to evacuate the house before it was demolished.
  • 7:20 P.M. A missile was fired at a minaret in Absan al-Kabira and no injuries were reported.
  • 9:45 P.M. An air strike struck an empty piece of land near Muntazah al-Mahatta, injuring 10 people passing by, including five children.
  • 11:15 P.M. An air strike struck a militant's house on Road 5. A 20-year-old in a nearby house was injured.

The Central Governorate

  • 11:20 A.M. A missile struck an agricultural land in al-Hasaniyya. The body of Rashad al-Din Yasin, 28, was later found at the location. Four other young people were injured including one child.
  • 7:30 P.M. Israeli forces situated near Kosivim military checkpoint, south east of Wadi al-Salqa village, shelled 35-year-old Salman Salama Abu Sawawin while on his motorcycle.
  • 9:00 P.M. A warning missile and an air strike struck and destroyed a house in Deir al-Balah.

 

Monday 7 July

Rafah

  • 1:30 A.M. An air strike struck a military location south of the Strip. One militant was injured and brought to a hospital, where he was later announced dead.
  • Later that morning, five militants were killed following several air strikes which struck and demolished a tunnel located east of Rafah city.

 

Sunday 6 July

The Central Governorate

  • 11:10 P.M. One missile was launched at a group of Palestinian militants south west of al-Breij refugee camp. Two of them were killed.
