By elucidating the linguistic ambiguities of the DOP, this Al-Haq report reveals some of the document's shortcomings, namely in regards to Palestinian human rights issues. Moreover, the report offers a coherent commentary on the measures which should be taken in order to ensure the Palestinians with the provision and preservation of basic human rights under international law.
