The Center for Applied International Law, Ramallah, has concluded a training session for lawyers entitled: The reality of the rights and freedoms in the occupied Palestinian territories.

It was the second in a series of training sessions tailored for lawyers from different provinces of Palestine, convened by the Center to help develop a broader understanding of international humanitarian law and international human rights law and to provide specific training for lawyers based on a combination of the theoretical and practical application of these disciplines.

The Center for Applied International Law was established as a legal training center for lawyers and human rights defenders with the aim of developing the skills and expertise necessary for the practical application of human rights law and international humanitarian law.
